#1 · Jan 23, 2014 So im thinking of collecting parts to build a little stronger and powerful engine for my 1970 1800E. Whats the good and bad with starting with a B20 AQ130 volvo penta short block? If you want to do ALL the work source a viable B20 block and head then go for it. So the best for me is to source a B20 from a car and start from there.I like to build my engines myself, the only thing I am not to good at is the head so Iwill outsource that.
