#1 · Jun 5, 2018 Hello, I always thought that the late B20 blocks with the reinforcements cast in the lifter gallery of cyilinder 1 and 4 all had metric threading. Just recently I bought a bare B20 block without crank which I thought to be a 74 or 75 block because of the reinforcements, much to my surprise it does not have metric threads. Does anyone know when exactly Volvo introduced these reinforcements and if there are any further differences in the casting when they moved to the metric threading ?
