Is there a difference? (especially running time)because i thought Nokia 6230's are meant to come with BL-5C's just like it says in the manual.and i have a BL-4C in mine.anyways, it works fine, so no complaint really.i'm genuinely asking as i want to purchase a spare battery from ebay, but don't know whether to go with a 5C or keep the 4C as it works on my phone.if 5C is better performing, then 5C it is.note: in the manual, it says the 5C charges within 1.5 hours but never mentions the 4C.by the way:cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayI...=6402218999&rd=1cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayI...=6402246460&rd=1would you trust either of these? abit cheap to my eyes.

BL-5C's are bigger and have more capacity and used in different models. BL-4C's are slimmer and have lower capacity and used in different models as BL-5C.Stick with what your phone's supposed to use.

If your 6230 has a BL-4C, I'd be taking it back to where you got it from and getting them to replace the battery with the correct one - my new 6230 has a BL-5C in it and its only about a month or so old. You're getting gipped =D

My 6230 has the BL-5C as well. Damn...well on average, how long would the battery last?Unless you talk everyday etc etc, but standby-time is what i'm generally asking for.

ToheyI must admit I haven't really tested it. On average I would guess my 6230 (maybe 10 sms/day, same number of calls, hour or so of playing mp3's and other stuff, seems to last a few days - maybe 3-4.I did have the sim card out for a few days when the card was in a reader and it beeped low battery after 7 days of no use. Will vary greatly depending on screen use, sound use etc etc I think video really sucks battery too but I don't use that or the camera much

Remember also that all LiIon batteries only reach their full potential after 4-5 full charge cycles
