Blokhus - a "must visit" spot

It's not without reason that Blokhus is visited by about a million holiday guests every year. The former fishing village is today center of a charming, internation holiday paradise with greats restaurants, accommodation for your every need and top rated experiences.

In Jammerbugten your sense of taste will get pampered, both by those who produce the products and at the restaurants. The food producers put time and effort into producing great, local ingredients, such as meat, fish, vegetables and various special products. At some places you can take a look behind the scenes and see the production. Among the products, which are especially characterised for the area, are the Vildmose potatoes, Ryå ice cream from Aabybro dairy, cheese from Ingstrup dairy, schnapps from Nordisk distillery and Blokhus salt, which is extracted from seawater from the beach at Blokhus.
