Batchy Hi everyone! I have a Mk2 V40 D2 Inscription. Ever since buying the car I notice that with the Senus system pairing to my device via bluetooth. Every now and then the audio stutters? It’s difficult to explain but the audio cuts off for a second or so and then comes back on missing a part of the song. And it’s became really annoying especially when listening to songs at a loud volume. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help. #1 · Mar 18, 2021 Hi everyone! I have a Mk2 V40 D2 Inscription. Is it intermittent or does it happen consistently, at same time intervals? Observing these might help isolate the issue. It might be the phone, specifically the codec used (SBC favours connection whilst AAC favours quality). Or your Sensus might need an update. You can also check and see what Bluetooth software version you have in your car, although I can't recall where you'd find that. Probably under My Car or General/Audio settings. #3 · Mar 20, 2021 Hi, Thanks for the response. As far as i’m aware it’s random. Sometimes it can happen 2 - 3 times in a minute and other times it will happen once every hour or so. It’s a bit annoying. I couldn’t find the bluetooth version, But i’m the cars second owner and I presume it hasn’t been updated since purchase. I called my local dealer and they said an update would cost £100. i’m going to get my friend who works at a separate branch to update it with his volvo computer and see if it fixes the issue. My best guess is you’re right with saying it’s probably outdated. 0 Reply #4 · Jul 6, 2021 I previously had a 2011 XC60 and bluetooth music streaming was perfect. I currently have a 2016 XC60 with the newer media interface and an iPhone 12 and I also get the music stutter from time to time. I recently acquired a 2012 V40 D3 also with the older interface like the 2011 XC60 and so far perfect music streaming. Seems the newer systems have an issue somewhere.
