Bó Hoa Thiêng_Spiritual Bouquet

A model for Living the Eucharistic Day, daily of the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement:

• Start the Eucharistic Day with Morning Offering Prayer, One Our Father, Three Hail Mary, One Glory to be the Father, Act of Contrition, and Spiritual Communion.
• The summit of the Eucharistic Day is attending the Holy Mass and receiving Holy Communion. When unable to attend Mass and receive Communion sacramentally, one can receive Spiritual Communion.
• Fill the Eucharistic Day with sacrifices and apostolic works.
• End the Eucharistic Day with Examination of Conscience, Our Father, Three Hail Mary, One Glory to be the Father, Act of Contrition, Spiritual Communion, and the Night Offering Prayer.

Prayer, Eucharist, Sacrifice and Apostolic works. The first of the four is prayer. Jesus is our role model and He is who we should strike for. Just like when we first start to meet people. We have to talk to them to know them and that’s when we become friends with them. It is the same with God. We cannot say that we know Him and love Him when we don’t know anything about Him, when we don’t take out time to talk to Him and get to know Him. Mary is our heavenly mother and for this month of October, gather all of your beautiful flowers and offer them to Mary by praying the Rosary. Pray to Mary that she will intercede for us and that each one of us will have the courage to do everything with love for one another.
