Burger King is scared of the U.K.’s potato sandwich gameBurger King is reintroducing a french fry sandwich to its menu for the first time since 2013, when it tried to put French fries in a bun with a beef burger, which is an unforgivable sin. Surely it will come to the U.K., home of regional delights gone national, chip butties, stotties, and scollop butties — in which the chips in the chip butty are themselves battered — to ply the country with a tribute to heritage, such that customers will continue to forget its multitude of labour, supply chain, and production sins.

No. It’s in New Zealand. A country which has to specify that chips are “hot chips” because the word “crisps” is alien.
