British English As a general rule (but as always in English there are probably many exceptions) it goes: She is busy (verb-ing) She is busy working. She is busy swimming. She is busy looking after the kids. She is busy with/at/on (noun) She is busy at work. She is busy with homework. She is busy with the kids. She is busy on the phone. RomanPinsEveryone
