City & Guilds Diploma in Electrical Installations

If you are new to the industry this level 2 qualification is the starting point to kickstarting your career. This is the recognised route by TESP that will equip you with the basic skills and experiences to work in commercial, industrial, domestic or agricultural sectors. The qualification covers health and safety, electrical theory, electrical principles and science, communication as well as practical skills.

Hands on training for success

All our course trainers have decades of teaching experience. You will learn from a range of training methods including both hands-on installation skills in the workshop as well as theory in our computer-equipped classroom. Practical training includes both Commercial and Domestic installations such as three-phase power systems, armoured cable, steel conduit, pipe bending and trunking.

All our City and Guild’s accredited courses include the relevant hand-outs to support your learning. During practical days, we have specific training boards and the tools and materials necessary for your electrical requirements to ensure you are fully prepared for work in the electrical industry.

As outlined above, Level 2 courses are assessed by a range of methods including online multiple-choice exams, practical assessments, and written assignments.

Please note that you must bring photographic ID such as a passport or driving license with you to sit the assessments on this course.
