The C945 transistor is a general-purpose NPN transistor that can be found in a wide range of commercial and educational electronic circuits. It comes in a TO-93 package, and the maximum load this transistor can drive is roughly 150mA (0.15A), which is sufficient to power several devices in a circuit, such as LEDs, relays, ICs, transistors, and other components. The C945 transistor has a good DC gain and a low noise type, making it perfect for use in audio preamplifier and amplifier circuit stages, as well as signal amplification in electronic circuits. Most BJT transistors have a saturation voltage of 0.6V, but the C945 has just 0.3V, therefore it can be used in low voltage circuits or in any circuit where the base voltage is low and other BJT transistors are not saturating.
