Abstract

Ít ai ngờ rằng bản tuyên ngôn độc lập đầu tiên của Việt Nam lại là một bài thơ Đường luật thất ngôn tứ cú viết bằng chữ Hán. “南國山河Nam Quốc Sơn Hà,” là một tuyệt phẩm của thi ca trung đại Việt Nam được những thế hệ người Việt nối tiếp nhau xưng tụng là bài thơ thần. Bài thơ này đã được nghiên cứu dưới nhiều góc độ khác nhau những mong khám phá ra những luật thơ trác tuyệt góp phần tạo nên thành công của bài thơ qua những không gian và thời gian khác nhau. Trong khuôn khổ bài viết này, tác giả sẽ giới thiệu sơ qua luật ngữ âm, vần, niêm của thơ Đường rồi so sánh 3 phiên bản âm Quan Thoại, âm Quảng Đông và âm Hán-Việt của bài thơ chữ Hán này. Áp dụng luật ngữ âm thơ Đường một cách cụ thể vào 3 cách đọc nêu trên, chúng ta dẫn đến kết luận rằng phiên bản âm Hán-Việt là đúng với luật thơ hơn cả. Abstract: Surprisingly an early declaration of Vietnam's independence was in the style of Đường luật-a Vietnamese variant of Chinese Tang poetry. This work, "南國山河 Nam Quốc Sơn Hà," a masterpiece of classical Vietnamese poetry, has been called "the God's poem" by later generations. This poem is in a regulated form that Vietnamese call Thất ngôn tứ cú, a type of seven-word quatrain written in the Tang poetry style. This patriotic poem is four lines long and must have seven syllables in each of its four lines. In this paper, I will explain the tonal structure rhythmic pattern, and rhyme scheme of the unique "南國山河 Nam Quốc Sơn Hà" in comparison with its Mandarin and Cantonese transliterations to suggest why its Sino-Vietnamese version is considered an extraordinary successful application of Đường luật techniques.
