Cây SungSung là cây thân gỗ lâu năm có tên khoa học là Ficus glomerata Roxb. var. chittagonga King), thuộc chi Ficus, họ dâu tằm (Moraceae). Sung ưa đất ẩm, nhiều ánh sáng, thường mọc hoang ở những nơi như bờ sông, bờ suối, khắp các vùng đồng bằng, ven chân rừng ở những nơi hợp thủy.Cái mà người ta gọi là quả thực ra đó là tập hợp của nhiều hoa nhỏ bên trong tạo thành quả giả hình trái lê, bên ngoài có lớp lông mịn, cuống ngắn. Hoa lớn dần, vỏ từ màu xanh chuyển sang màu đỏ thẫm, chín và rụng rất nhanh, có mùi thơm hấp dẫn. Quả thường mọc từng chùm trên thân và những cành không mang lá . Sung có nhiều loại, phổ biến nhất ở nước ta là sung vè, sung xanh, sung nòi…cũng có những giống không cho quả, có giống khó ra quả nếu không được tác động bàn tay con người.Nhiều người không sành đã mua phải những cây sung cảnh bán rong trên đường phố mặc dù cây còn nhỏ mà sai chi chít quả, về nhà vài ngày mới phát hiện ra là nghệ thuật gắn keo con voi.Bạn hãy quan sát kỹ trên lá, nếu lá to hình mũi giáo, lá non có lông cả 2 mặt, lá già cứng, nhẵn, trên lá thường có những mụn nhỏ (do con sâu thuộc họ Psyllidae ký sinh) gọi là “vú sung” thì sớm muộn gì cây cũng sẽ cho quả, nếu không thấy các đặc điểm nêu trên thì có thể là giống không cho quả hoặc khó ra quả.Trong trường hợp này bạn nên tìm những cây sung đã cho quả chiết lấy cành hoặc lấy quả chín gieo trồng và tạo cây bonsai mới nếu muốn chơi sung như một biểu tượng của sự no đủ, tốt lành và may mắn (sung nở hoa).Nếu có các đặc điểm như nêu ở trên (đúng là giống sung cho quả), muốn cho sung ra quả có thể làm theo những cách sau:Ngừng tưới nước cho cây 15-20 ngày, vặt bỏ hết lá trên cây. Sau đó cây sẽ ra một đợt lá mới và hình thành nụ hoa và ra trái (khoảng sau 3 tháng). Mùa hoa thường từ tháng 6-8, mùa quả tháng 9-11, do vậy nên làm vào cuối mùa xuân. Dùng dao khía vài nhát vào thân cây cho chảy nhựa (khứa vừa đến phần gỗ), chỗ gần gốc cây sẽ kích thích cây ra hoa, ra quả. Nếu trồng trong chậu thì nên thay chậu to hơn, thay từ 1/2 đến 2/3 đất mới có bổ sung phân vi sinh, moi lỗ xung quanh chậu bón xác con cá hố biển muối sơ bít các lỗ thoát nước lại, ngưng tưới nước hoàn toàn cho tới khi cây rụng hết lá, khía thêm vài nhát nơi thân nhẵn, sau 2-3 tháng cây sẽ thay lá mới và sẽ ra, ra quả. Sau mỗi đợt ra quả bạn cần bón bổ sung một lượng phân NPK, tưới nước thường xuyên cho cây sinh trưởng, phát triển tốt, mã quả đẹp theo ý muốn. Khi quả đã rụng hết còn lại cùi hoa bám vào thân cây mẹ, sang năm từ cùi hoa này sẽ đâm ra những chồi hoa mới, tiếp tục cho quả.Lưu ý : Nếu cắt bỏ những cùi hoa này thì cây sẽ không tự mọc ra chồi mới ở vị trí đó nữa, quả sung sẽ mọc ra ở những chỗ mới nơi thân đủ già, ngày càng lên cao nên mất cân đối và rất xấu. Vì vậy, khi thay chậu không được cắt bỏ các cùi hoa này. Muốn trái ra chỗ khác cũng nên khía nhẹ như đã nói ở trên. Những quả mọc trên cành thường ko nên để vì sẽ làm chết cành nên vặt bỏ sớm hơn ,để giữ cành ko lao . Nếu do chăm sóc nhiều, lá sung to, dày nên không đẹp, muốn làm cho lá nhỏ lại, khi mầm lá nẩy ra được 2-3 lá, bạn dùng tay bấm bỏ ngọn làm cho mầm lá chùn lại không phát triển, lá sẽ già đanh nhỏ lại chỉ bằng ngón tay cái. Tiếp tục theo dõi khi thấy mầm ở các mắt lá cứ nhú ra độ 1-2 lá, lại tiếp tục bấm bỏ ngọn một vài lần như thế, những ngọn ra lần sau sẽ nhỏ lại, chờ cho lá già thẫm lại, tiếp tục chăm bón bình thường.Tags: cây sung,chăm sóc cây cảnh,kỹ thuật trồng cây cảnh,bonsai Lazi.vn
