Procedure

Following IATA resolution 830d, travel agents must communicate passenger contact details to the airlines, in case of irregularities in the operation of flights.

The following SSRs are used:

  • SSR CTCE Passenger's email address

  • SSR CTCM Passenger's mobile number

If the passenger refuses to provide their contact details, the following SSR must be added in the booking:

  • SSR CTCR Passenger refuses to provide their contact

Note: In case of missing SRCTCE, SRCTCM or SRCTCR, the warning message MISSING SSR CTCM MOBILE OR SSR CTCE EMAIL OR SSR CTCR NON-CONSENT will be displayed at end of transaction. You can bypass the warning message by entering ERorET again but the bypass will be recorded in the PNR history.

How to add an email address as airline contact information (SRCTCE)

Some characters of the email address must be replaced for the SRCTCE information to be correctly transferred to the airline:

  • // (double slash) replaces the @ (at sign)
  • .. (double dot) replaces the _ (underscore)
  • ./ (dot slash) replaces the- (dash) For example:

How to add a mobile phone as airline contact information (SRCTCM)

  • To add a mobile phone and transfer the information to the airline, enter, for example: SRCTCM-3054996244/US SRCTCMAFHK1-0034563214/P1 Note: The dash (-) after the SRCTCM is mandatory to transfer the contact information correctly to the airline.

My passenger refuses to share the contact information

  • If a passenger refuses sharing their contact information, add an SRCTCR. Enter, for example: SRCTCR-REFUSED/P3 SRCTCRSNHK1-REFUSED/P4
