CARES - Research Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Software Engineer to support computational research activities within our organization. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of scientific software and will work closely with research teams to enable efficient use of high-performance computing (HPC) resources.

HYCOMBS - Research Fellow (Mechanical/Chemical Engineer)

We are looking for several combustion researchers knowledgeable in kinetics, laminar and turbulent flame fundamentals, high-pressure combustion, and detonations and ignition risk analysis with CFD. Candidates will be expected to work in a multi-collaborative and international team, write reports, and present in both academic and industrial settings, as industrial collaborations are part of the project.

SM3 - Research Fellow (Chemist)

Dr Ruth Webster (University of Cambridge) is seeking a Research Fellow to be based in CARES. The candidate should have a PhD in Organic Chemistry, Catalysis, Process Chemistry, Green Chemistry, or a related field with experience designing and optimising novel transformations. The candidate will drive laboratory experimentation, route design, mechanistic exploration, and data generation to support future patent filings and technology transfer.
