Campaign, Ad Set And Ad Limits Per Ad Account - Facebook

In addition to ad limits per Page, there are limits on how many campaigns, ad sets and ads you can create or manage per ad account. Once you reach those limits, you’ll get a notification or an error message that says you can’t create more. These limits apply to active and inactive ads, ad sets or campaigns.

Ad limits that apply to ads

The ad limits apply to ads with the following statuses:

Active ads

• The ad is turned on. The ad is either running normally or your campaign or ad sets contains at least one ad running normally.

Inactive ads

• Completed: When the ad is completed or the scheduled end date of the ad has passed, the ad is turned off.
• Ads off or ad set off: The campaign appears on as the toggle switch is blue (toggle icon), but the ad set or ad is turned off.
• No ads: When there are no published ads in the campaign or ad set.

Regular ad accounts

If you have a regular Meta Ads Manager account, you can create and manage a limited amount of ads, ad sets and campaigns per ad account.

• You can have up to 50 ads in each ad set.
• You can have up to 5,000 ad sets.
• You can have up to 5,000 campaigns.
• You can have up to 5,000 ads. Only 1,000 of these 5,000 ads can use dynamic creative.

Managed advertisers

If you’ve been assigned a Meta account manager, you can create and manage more ads.

• You can have up to 50 ads in each ad set.
• You can have up to 10,000 ad sets.
• You can have up to 10,000 campaigns.
• You can have up to 50,000 ads. Only 1,000 of these 50,000 ads can use dynamic creative.

If you reach your limit

When you reach your ad, ad set or campaign limit, you can either delete an ad, ad set or campaign or create new campaigns for each of your marketing periods. When you delete these assets, we automatically archive them for you. Once these assets are archived, you can’t edit, duplicate or undelete them. You can have up to 100,000 archived ads or ad campaigns.
