  CORONECTOMY - A SAFE APPROACH TO WISDOM TOOTH REMOVAL   WHEN THE ROOT IS CLOSE TO THE INFERIOR ALVEOLAR NERVE 1️⃣ Coronectomy – A Controlled Wisdom Tooth Extraction Technique That Preserves the Roots  ✅ Coronectomy is a technique in which only the crown of the tooth is removed while the roots, often located in close proximity to the inferior alveolar nerve, are intentionally left in place to minimize the risk of nerve injury.  🔎 The retained roots are monitored periodically. Over time, they are gradually covered by bone and, if stable, do not interfere with chewing function. 2️⃣️️ The Coronectomy Procedure at CarePlus  🔷 The dentist identifies cases indicated for coronectomy, including:  🔹 Tooth roots located extremely close to or intersecting with the inferior alveolar nerve (IAN).  🔹 Roots positioned adjacent to the lingual cortical plate, where complete root removal may risk fracture of the bone plate and potential injury to the lingual nerve (LN).  🔷 The dentist schedules a consultation to explain possible complications associated with complete root extraction. Once the patient agrees to the coronectomy approach, the procedure is performed. The surgical process follows standard protocols: the crown is sectioned and removed, the area is thoroughly cleaned, sharp edges are smoothed, and the site is sutured.  🔷 The healing process is similar to that of conventional extraction. Postoperative discomfort typically subsides within 2–3 days. Importantly, patients do not experience numbness of the lips, tongue, or one side of the face, risks that may occur when attempting complete root removal.   NGÀY THẾ GIỚI PHÒNG CHỐNG BỆNH AIDS (WORLD AIDS DAY) 01.12.2025. 🌎 Ngày 1/12 hằng năm, toàn thế giới hướng về Ngày Thế giới Phòng chống AIDS là dịp để nâng cao nhận thức về HIV/AIDS và tưởng nhớ những người đã ra đi vì căn bệnh này. 📍 Năm nay, WHO cùng các quốc gia và cộng đồng quốc tế kỷ niệm sự kiện với chủ đề: “Vượt qua gián đoạn, chuyển mình trong ứng phó HIV/AIDS”. 🔎 Thực trạng về HIV/AIDS – Những con số không thể bỏ qua:  ▪️ Ước tính năm 2024 có 40,8 triệu người đang sống chung với HIV trên toàn cầu.  ▪️ Khoảng 630.000 người tử vong vì các nguyên nhân liên quan đến HIV trong năm 2024.  ▪️ Khoảng 1,3 triệu người mới nhiễm HIV trong năm 2024.  💬 Dù đã đạt nhiều tiến bộ sau hàng thập kỷ, hệ thống dịch vụ HIV của nhiều quốc gia vẫn bị gián đoạn, khiến nguy cơ và tính dễ tổn thương của cộng đồng tăng cao. 🔔 Thông điệp trọng tâm của WORLD AIDS DAY 2025:  1️⃣ Ưu tiên và kết hợp các dịch vụ  ▪️ Tăng cường tiếp cận các dịch vụ phòng ngừa – xét nghiệm – điều trị.  ▪️ Quản lý hiệu quả kháng thuốc và HIV giai đoạn muộn.  ▪️ Kết nối dịch vụ HIV với y tế cơ bản và mạng lưới cộng đồng.  ▶️ Như vậy, nhiều người sẽ được hỗ trợ hơn và hệ thống y tế sẽ mạnh hơn. 2️⃣ Giải quyết bất bình đẳng   🔸 Một số nhóm vẫn chịu nhiều thiệt thòi:  ▪️ Trẻ em, thanh thiếu niên và phụ nữ trẻ (đặc biệt tại Châu Phi).  ▪️ Các nhóm nguy cơ: nam quan hệ đồng giới, người chuyển giới, người sử dụng ma túy, người bán dâm, người trong trại giam. 3️⃣ Thúc đẩy đổi mới  🔸 Cuộc chiến chống HIV chưa bao giờ dễ dàng, nhưng sự kiên trì và đổi mới luôn giữ vai trò then chốt. Dù nguồn tài trợ toàn cầu giảm sút, những tiến bộ như lenacapavir tác dụng kéo dài – mũi tiêm dự phòng mỗi 6 tháng vẫn thắp lên hy vọng mới cho những người cần được bảo vệ nhất. 4️⃣ Trao quyền cho cộng đồng  🔸 Cộng đồng là trái tim của cuộc chiến chống HIV, mang đến kiên cường, góc nhìn và đổi mới để vượt qua thử thách.   CÂU CHUYỆN KHÁCH HÀNG: THIẾU MÁU THIẾU SẮT Ở TUỔI HỌC ĐƯỜNG - ỔN ĐỊNH SAU 3 THÁNG ĐIỀU TRỊ 📍 Bé N không có triệu chứng đặc biệt, chỉ thỉnh thoảng than mệt khi tham gia thể thao. Bé được mẹ dẫn đi khám sức khỏe tổng quát và phát hiện thiếu máu do thiếu sắt. 1️⃣ ĐÁNH GIÁ LÂM SÀNG 👩🏻⚕️ Khi thăm khám, bác sĩ ThS. BS. Sử Thị Như Ngọc - Chuyên Khoa Nhi nhận thấy da và niêm mạc của bé hơi nhợt, không hồng hào như thông thường. ▶️ Khai thác kỹ hơn về chế độ ăn và thói quen sinh hoạt, bác sĩ ghi nhận: ▪️ Bé thường ăn sáng sơ sài. ▪️ Trong các bữa chính, lượng thịt đỏ, cá và rau xanh đậm là những nguồn cung cấp sắt quan trọng lại còn hạn chế. ▪️ Bé đã có kinh nguyệt hơn 2 năm, không rong kinh nhưng lượng kinh mỗi kỳ khá nhiều. ▪️ Gia đình không có tiền căn thiếu máu ▶️ Để đánh giá nguyên nhân gây thiếu máu, bác sĩ chỉ định thực hiện một số xét nghiệm máu, bao gồm: ▪️ Công thức máu (CBC). ▪️ Định lượng ferritin huyết thanh. 🔔 Kết quả xét nghiệm cho thấy: ▪️ Huyết sắc tố (Hb) thấp hơn ngưỡng bình thường so với lứa tuổi. ▪️ Hồng cầu nhỏ và nhược sắc, phù hợp với kiểu thiếu máu do thiếu sắt. ▪️ Ferritin máu giảm rõ rệt, chứng tỏ dự trữ sắt trong cơ thể rất thấp. 2️⃣ CHẨN ĐOÁN ▶️ Xác định: Thiếu máu do thiếu sắt 3️⃣ HƯỚNG DẪN ĐIỀU TRỊ Sau khi xác định nguyên nhân, bác sĩ hướng dẫn điều trị theo hai hướng song song: ▶️ Bổ sung sắt điều trị: ▪️ Sử dụng thuốc sắt đường uống theo liều lượng phù hợp cân nặng và mức độ thiếu máu. ▪️ Thường cần duy trì ít nhất 3 tháng sau khi Hb trở về bình thường để tái tạo dự trữ sắt.️ ️ ▶️ Điều chỉnh chế độ ăn: ▪️ Tăng thực phẩm giàu sắt dễ hấp thu: thịt bò, thịt heo nạc, gan gà, cá, trứng. ▪️ Kết hợp thực phẩm giàu vitamin C (cam, quýt, bưởi, ổi, cà chua) trong mỗi bữa ăn để tăng hấp thu sắt. ▪️ Hạn chế: bánh ngọt, snack, trà sữa, nước ngọt có ga – vừa ít giá trị dinh dưỡng, vừa cản trở hấp thu vi chất. ▪️ Với trẻ có chu kỳ kinh nhiều, cần tăng cường thực phẩm giàu sắt hơn trong những ngày hành kinh. 3️⃣ KẾT QUẢ SAU ĐIỀU TRỊ: Sau 3 tháng tuân thủ phác đồ điều trị và cải thiện chế độ ăn, Bé N tái khám tại CarePlus với kết quả đáng khích lệ: Huyết sắc tố (Hb) đã trở về ngưỡng bình thường theo lứa tuổi.
