The CBH Group is one of Australia's leading grain organisations, a co-operative with operations extending along the value chain from grain storage, handling and transport to marketing, shipping and processing. The CBH Group is based in Western Australia and is owned and controlled by around 3,500 grain growers. Since being established 90 years ago, the co-operative has constantly evolved, innovated and grown. Our core purpose is to sustainably create and return value to growers.

  The Harvest Mass Management Scheme (HMMS), developed by CBH and Main Roads Western Australia seeks to reduce the instances of overloaded grain trucks at CBH sites. During harvest, growers can forfeit grain from overloaded trucks, which is then sold, and proceeds go to WA charities nominated by CBH growers and employees.   Today we released our 2025 Annual Report, which outlines our financial and operational performance for the year ending 30 September 2025.   We reported an adjusted group surplus of $208.3 million, driven by the large harvest and strong performance across the supply chain. During the financial year, WA growers delivered the third-largest crop on record (20.4mt) and the CBH team achieved its second-largest outloading program (19.8mt). The report celebrates the significant progress made on the Path to 2033 Strategy, including the arrival of 500 new rail wagons, the completion of the state-of-the-art rail facilities at Broomehill, Moora and Cranbrook, as well as major site expansions completed at Newdegate and Corrigin.   WA grain on the global stage! CBH Group representatives recently attended the International Association of Operative Millers Mideast & Africa Conference & Expo IAOM MEA in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where 600 milling delegates from the Middle East and Africa gathered. Wheat Trading Manager Will Reid delivered a presentation on the Australian wheat market, reinforcing the strength and reliability of WA grain in key export destinations.

  A bold community-led project is gaining momentum in Gnowangerup, where local co-operative GNP360 is transforming the town’s historic hotel into a vibrant accommodation and family precinct. With just under $25,000 in support from CBH Group through the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals (BCCM) Bunya Fund, GNP360 was able to develop a business plan that unlocked over $400,000 in funding which will enable them to kickstart stage one of the redevelopment.   We’re proud to announce the completion of the Corrigin site upgrade, adding 180,000 tonnes of permanent storage ahead of the 2025/26 harvest. This major investment is part of CBH’s Path to 2033 strategy — ensuring we can continue to efficiently receive and outturn growing crop volumes while delivering strong service for growers in the region. The project includes four new bulkheads, upgraded inloading equipment, conveyors, a new exit weighbridge, sample platform, and improved amenities — all designed to enhance site flow and capacity. Delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard thanks to the great work and collaboration of our key contractors: Multiplant Holdings Pty Ltd Ellett Contracting Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors Intellect Systems A big thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to life — strengthening our network and supporting growers for seasons to come.

  📍 Lentils delivered into MGC! CBH received its first-ever delivery of lentils at MGC yesterday! 🌱 Southern Cross grower Callum Wesley rolled into our Metro Grain Centre (MGC) at 11:30am with 52 tonnes of red lentils, delivered into our Lentil1 segregation. Callum, a 2026 Nuffield Scholar, will be exploring opportunistic cropping and low rainfall break crops in his studies. 👏 Congrats to Callum and our team at MGC! #CBHGroup #WAAg #Lentils #GrainInnovation #NuffieldScholar #MetroGrainCentre #WAfarming

  Exciting News! CBH has been recognised on the national stage, winning Best WHS Technology Innovation at the 2025 Australian Workplace Health and Safety Awards for our Phosphine Delivery System (PDS). Developed by CBH with design partner Umech, the PDS is a mobile system designed to safely fumigate and protect stored grain from insect damage, setting a new benchmark for fumigation practices across the Australian grain industry. “Our PDS system makes treating grain in the CBH network safer for our frontline teams, all while protecting WA growers’ high-quality grain,” CBH Head of Grain Technology Craig McLure said. This award reflects CBH’s ongoing commitment to innovation and safety—and we’re proud to lead the way in creating safer solutions for insect management across agricultural supply chains.
