This flood barrier is designed for windows, louvers, hatchways, and other openings in which either three or four sides of flood prevention panels are needed. If only used during high water events, the panels can be easily removed for storage.

Because these flood barriers are engineered with compression gaskets, no air pressure or power is needed; and maintenance requirements are minimal.

Every CG22 is custom built to exacting dimensions for new or existing construction for maximum flood prevention.

SIMPLE, RELIABLE FLOOD PROTECTION

When rising waters threaten, simply remove the panel from storage, set it in the opening jamb and tighten screws into threaded inserts around the perimeter with a wrench. One person can usually handle panels up to six square feet.

It is recommended that a conversion frame be installed to ensure a smooth and even sealing surface. However, it is possible to attach the panel without a conversion frame if such conditions exist.

APPLICATIONS — THE CG22 FLOOD PREVENTION PANEL AT WORK

This sturdy but lightweight flood panel is ideal for windows and other openings in commercial or industrial buildings. It is well suited for hatchways that are infrequently accessed in water treatment facilities, sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.

CUSTOM BUILT TO MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS

Every CG22 Flood Panel is custom built from shop drawings to ensure that it meets the needs of your facility.

Seal areas can be designed to cover 3 or 4 sides of the panel.

Panels are designed with a minimum of 2:1 factor of safety based on material yield strength, and will provide an effective seal against the flood level for which it is designed.
