CHAIN5 is the ‘community of practice for level 5’ for those who are involved in the developments concerning level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework. Members are (and you can be also one of them):

  • national and international associations, networks for VET, HE, SCHE, HVET and other qualifications at level 5…
  • employers’ organisations…
  • students’ organisations…
  • universities, colleges, universities of applied sciences, institutions for VET, both private and public financed…
  • business academies…
  • experts in EQF level 5…
  • researchers…
  • consultancy agencies…

The first annual conference was held in Amsterdam in 2014, the second one in 2015 also in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.Here the list with the other annual conferences:2016:  Aalborg (Denmark)2017:  Bled (Slovenia)2018:  Brussels (Belgium)2019:  Como (Italy).2020: Tallicnn (Estonia)2021:  Blended-conference, hosted from Zagreb (Croatia)2022:  Oslo (Norway)2023:  Leeuwarden (the Netherlands)2024:  Zagreb (Croatia).

In 2025, the conference has been in Maia near Porto, in Portugal – in November (12-13-14).See for information at: www.chain5.net/MAIA25
