Chang Ge Xing (manhua)

Chang Ge Xing (長歌行 Cháng Gē Xíng), also known as Chouka Kou (ちょうかこう) in Japan, is a Chinese seinen manhua[1] by Xia Da.

Chang An in the Tang Dynasty of China (618-907): The demon star is passing through the sky, calamity is about to befall the Tang Dynasty - because of a woman. Skilled in martial arts and war tactics, Princess Li Changge sets out to avenge her family and take back the throne.

Alternate titles include: 长歌行, Singing All Along, Song of the Long March, March of the Long Song, The Chinese Princess, Chang Ge's Journey, Change's Journey.

A live-action drama series adaption of Chang Ge Xing was released in 2021 in China, called The Long Ballad (長歌行 / 长歌行). [2]

An animation adaption was announced November 21, 2020.[3]

Latest news[]

No chapters after 61 have been published yet because the author Xia Da decided not to renew her contract with the publishing company due to conflicts which arose from the company severely underpaying her. Xia Da has also been facing numerous health issues, and so made the decision to take a break from writing to recuperate and re-organize. In a post on Weibo, she assures fans that she will be back as soon as possible.
