This "Check SAFELOCK!" notification always pops up on my Golf's MFD when I switch off the car. What is it trying to tell me? I'm too lazy to read the (German) user manual to find out.

Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions #2 · Sep 14, 2016 The message is simply reminding you that the the car will be deadlocked when you lock the vehicle - I guess that it's indicating that if you leave someone in the car, they won't be able to exit via the door handle!
