Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using? iphone 7
  2. On what version of iOS is it? ios 14.3
  3. What version of checkra1n are you using? Checkra1n 0.12.2 beta. I am using a bootable usb on Windows.
  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? I made the checkra1n iso file into a bootable usb.
  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? 3rd party lightening cable.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Boot into USB, and launch checkra1n in GUI mode.
  2. Start the jailbreak. Recovery mode is entered automatically. Then you boot into DFU mode manually. The process will start automatically when you enter DFU mode.
  3. When the iphone is booting, the system shows usb error (Error code: -63) and jailbreak is not applied. ... I once hard jailbreak but after my device's battery drained and I charged, I got stuck on apple logo lock. I had to restore and try to jailbreak again.

What do you expect, and what is happening instead? I have used the above steps before on the same setup and it worked, so I was expecting it to work again. Instead I am getting a usb error (Error code: -63) and jailbreak is not successful.

Did you see a popup on the device stating it entered "Safe Mode" due to an error? No. My device is not activated yet.

Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options? Yes. Same results both ways

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...?
