Child's Play (1988)

Fgfd

The ritual being performed by Charles on a Good Guy.

On November 9th, 1988, Charles Lee Ray is chased down after a failed robbery, by detective Mike Norris. After he is fatally shot, his partner in crime Eddie decides to bail and drives away in the getaway van, despite Charles' pleas. Stumbling into a toy store, Charles desperately uses his voodoo amulet, the Heart of Damballa, to transfer his soul into a Good Guy doll. The chant causes lightning to burst through the store skylight and cause an explosion. Although Norris finds Charles' dead body, his soul successfully transferred into the doll, which is found by a peddler.

The next morning, Chucky is bought by a woman named Karen, as a last-minute birthday gift for her son Andy. As Karen has to work, her friend babysits Maggie babysits Andy that night. Everything seems normal until Andy is told to get ready for bed. He tells her that Chucky wants to stay up and watch the news. Believing that he is playing, she sends him off to go brush his teeth, only to find that Chucky is on the couch with the TV turned on. Maggie scolds him, but he denies doing anything; she simply tucks him in and goes back to the living room. Chucky slips out of Andy's bedroom, and begins to scare Maggie. He knocks over a bowl of sugar to get her into the kitchen. When she goes to clean it up, he grabs a hammer and hits her, causing her to fall out of the window to the ground below.

Detective Norris and his partner Jack are called in to investigate the death, and to question Andy. Norris suspects Andy may have something to do with it, as Andy's sneakers are the closest match to the footprints in the sugar. Karen comes home as they are talking with Andy, and angrily makes them leave. Once the police are gone, she goes to check on her son, and sees him talking to his Good Guy doll. At first it seems innocent, but Andy adds that Chucky said, "Aunt Maggie was a real bitch and got what she deserved".

Karen sends Andy off to school the next day, but along the way Chucky gets Andy to take him to Eddie's hideout. As Andy goes off to use the bathroom, Chucky blows out the pilot light on the stove, and turns up the gas. Eddie hears his stove door open, and takes his gun to check it out. He fires wildly at the noise, causing his house to explode. The detectives are called in again, and find Andy at the scene. Suspicious, they call in Dr. Ardmore to monitor while they interview him. When Jack asks why Maggie fell, Andy says that she saw Chucky, and it scared her so much she fell down. Karen explains to him that no one believes his story, and if he does not tell the truth, the police will take him away from her. Scared, Andy confronts Chucky, begging him to say something. As he just repeats his doll lines, he runs to his mother, telling her Chucky is doing it on purpose, and would kill him if he ever told anyone about him. From behind the glass, Ardmore announces his presence, suggesting Andy stay a few days at the hospital.

With Andy sent to the hospital, Karen takes Chucky back to her apartment. She notices that the doll has been running without batteries, cautiously checks the doll's back. Chucky's head sharply turns backwards as she looks, making her drop the doll. Scared, she pulls the doll out from under the couch, and continues to try and make the doll talk. Chucky then attacks her, and she tosses him to other side of the room, allowing him to escape. As Karen gets detective Norris in to help her find out about the doll, Chucky follows and sneaks into Norris' car. While Norris is driving back home, Chucky tries to strangle him. Mike gets him off temporarily by burning his cheek with a cigarette lighter plug, but Chucky continuously tries to stab him from behind his seat. Unable to drive while being attacked, the car goes out of control and flips over. He continues to try and stab him, but Mike shoots him.

As he thought that as a doll he was invincible, he is shocked to see that the bullet hurt him, and runs off. Needing answers, he locates his voodoo instructor, John Bishop. He explains that Chucky must transfer his soul back into a human, but it must be the first person he revealed himself to: Andy. However, he refuses to help Chucky, and attempts to call the police. Before he can, Chucky pulls out a voodoo doll, which is connected to John. He stabs the doll, and leaves John to die.

Chucky, burned.

Chucky sneaks into the hospital to Andy's room. He manages to break into Andy's room, but by that time Andy had escaped. Andy finds his way downstairs into the operating room, as Chucky follows him. He manages to knock Andy to the ground, but hides when Dr. Ardmore comes into the room. Ardmore puts Andy on the bed, and tries to sedate him. While they struggle, Chucky grabs a scalpel and stabs Ardmore in the back of the leg. Once on the ground, he puts an electric shock helmet on him, and shocks the doctor to death. During this time Andy runs back to his apartment, but Chucky is right on his trail. Once the two reach the apartment, he knocks Andy unconscious with a baseball bat and begins the ritual. However, before he finishes, Mike Norris and Karen enter. He stabs Mike in the leg, and then knocks him unconscious with the bat. Before he hits him again, Karen shoots him, redirecting his attacks. Karen throws him into the fireplace, and despite Chucky's pleas, Andy lights a match and ignites the fireplace.

Karen sends Andy to get a first aid kit, but Andy sees that Chucky is not in the fireplace. Completely burnt, he chases after Andy, who runs to the bedroom. Karen shoots him several times, knocking off his head, arm, and leg. When Mike's partner Jack arrives, he grabs Chucky's head and brings it back to the bedroom. Unbeknownst to him, Chucky's body sneaks through the air vent to follow the head, and breaks through the vent to strangle Jack. As Karen pulls Chucky's body off Jack, Mike shoots him in the heart, finally killing him.

Chucky 2

Chucky being resurrected.

The company that makes the Good Guy dolls, Play Pals, has received bad publicity from the Andy incident. To prove that Chucky is a normal doll, they decide to rebuild him. However, during the rebuilding, a worker is electrocuted, and the CEO wants to hide the accident and gives Chucky to another executive, Mattson. Unsure with what to do, Mattson tosses Chucky in the back seat of his car, and drives to a liquor store and gets out to buy vodka. While he is gone, Chucky checks the records that Mattson left in his car, and finds out where Andy is now living: the Simpson house. Upon getting back into the car, Chucky threatens Mattson with a water pistol, to drive to the Simpson residence. When they near the house, Chucky makes him park in a vacant lot, where he suffocates him to death with a plastic bag.

Entering the house, Chucky finds that there already is a Good Guy doll there, named Tommy. He breaks the doll with a glass antique, buries it in the backyard, and then proceeds to pose as him. The next night, Chucky decides to act, and sneaks into Andy's room. He ties Andy to the bed and begins the chant, but is interrupted as Andy's foster sister Kyle sneaks through the window after a night out. Their foster parents come into the room as Kyle unties Andy, and throw Chucky down into the basement.

The next morning, when Andy goes to school, Chucky follows. During recess, he creeps into the classroom, and finds Andy's test paper. He writes obscenities on it, causing Andy's teacher to hold him in detention after school. She locks Andy inside the classroom, and throws Chucky into the closet, whom she finds in the class play area. Andy escapes through the window. Returning, she hears noise coming from the closet, and assumes that Andy is hiding from her. She searches the closet, only to have Chucky stab her in the chest with an air pump and send her flying into the desks. He emerges from the closet, and beats her to death with a yardstick.

In the night, Andy hears something coming from the basement, and with a knife, goes downstairs. Chucky attacks him, only to be stopped by the foster father Phil coming down. Andy tries to warn Phil, but Chucky trips him and leaves him dangling on the edge of the stairs. He then drops him, causing him to fall and break his neck. With her husband dead, the foster mother Joanne sends Andy back to the orphanage. Alone in the house, Chucky follows Joanne upstairs and slits her throat, then sets his sights on Kyle. Subduing her, Chucky forces her to drive him to the orphanage. He holds her at knife point as he pulls the fire alarm, to get Andy out. He stabs Andy's care worker Grace to death, and takes Andy to the Play Pals factory.

Inside the factory, he knocks Andy unconscious, and begins the chant. However, it is too late for him to transfer his soul now; Chucky is trapped as a doll forever. Enraged by this, Chucky goes to kill Andy, but is subdued by Kyle, who takes him and runs. The two are chased through a maze of dolls, and as they run up a conveyor, Kyle slams the gate onto Chucky's hand. He manages to pull the arm free, losing the hand, and replaces it with his knife. He continues the chase, and kills the lone technician on the way. Although he goes in for the attack, Kyle knocks him into another machine, which cuts off his legs. Chucky once again tries to kill, rolling himself over on a crate, but Andy douses him with molten plastic. He is still not dead. While he attacks Kyle, she forces an air tube into his mouth, expanding his head until it explodes, killing him.

Child's Play 3 (1991)

The Good Guy doll line has been restarted by Play Pals. As they decide to recycle the old dolls for the new ones, Chucky's remains are unknowingly included in the batch. With his blood melding with the molten plastic, he is once again brought to life in a new doll body. Being the first doll off the assembly line, Chucky is given to the CEO, Sullivan. He brings the doll back to his apartment, where Chucky kills him, and then uses his computer to locate Andy.

Chucky mails himself to Andy at the Kent Military School, but is instead opened by a boy named Ronald Tyler. He decides to use Tyler as his new host, and reveals himself to the boy. He gets ready for the ritual, and disguises his plans as a game called "Hide the Soul". Unfortunately for Chucky, Cochrane finds Tyler, and as toys are against the rules, takes him away and throws him in the trash. The garbage man takes him and throws him into the truck, but is alarmed to hear a voice shouting from inside. While he goes to look, Chucky slips in the driver's seat and starts the compressor, killing him.

Later that night while searching for Tyler, Chucky breaks into Andy's room to attack him. Andy thwarts him off until Shelton comes in, seeing Andy slamming the doll against the floor. He takes Chucky away, claiming he needs it for his sister's birthday, but Chucky escapes again. He is able to eventually locate Tyler, who is playing Hide-and-Seek. When he finds him in Cochrane's closet, he has no time to cast the ritual as they are then found by two girls. The girls quickly flee as they hear Cochrane coming back and take Tyler with them, leaving Chucky. Jumping out of the desk armed with a knife, Chucky scares Cochrane into having a heart attack.

The next day, the barber Botnick finds Chucky sitting on his chair, and when he tries to shave his head, his throat is slit with the razor. A few hours later, the school is getting ready for their annual paintball war game, with the students split into red and blue teams. Chucky steals the red team's rifles, and replaces the paint pellets with live ammunition. Before the game starts, he calls Tyler out to the woods. He reveals his true intentions to the boy, who out of fear stabs the doll and runs back to the game. To get Tyler back, he captures Andy's friend Kristen, and using the radio, tells Andy to bring him Tyler or he'll kill the girl. During this time, he also shouts insults at both teams in order to get them to start shooting at each other. After they switch hostages, both teams show up and start firing, with students being shot and killed in the crossfire. In the confusion Tyler escapes, and Chucky throws a grenade at the crowd while he chases after the boy.

Capturing Tyler again, the two find their way into a nearby carnival. They go into a haunted house, followed closely by Andy and Kristen. Once inside, the two groups catch up with one another, during which Chucky shoots Kristen in the leg, forcing Andy to take on Chucky alone. As Chucky continues to chase after Tyler, he unintentionally stands underneath a Grim Reaper statue, which slices half of his face off. When Tyler is knocked unconscious by the wing of a giant figure, Chucky begins the chant. However, halfway through the chant, Andy shoots his left arm off with a pistol and knocks him off the mountain of skulls. Once Andy reaches Tyler and wakes him, Chucky leaps back up. Tyler hands Andy a pocket knife, which he uses to cut off Chucky's remaining hand, and throws him off. Chucky falls into a propelling fan, shredding him to pieces.

Resurrecting Chucky.

Chucky's remains have been taken to a confidential evidence footlocker. Tiffany, the ex-girlfriend of Charles Lee Ray, bribes a cop into getting his remains for her, which she brings back to her trailer home. Using parts of other dolls, she sews him back together, and attempts to resurrect him. However, she is disappointed to see nothing happen, and is then interrupted by her unwanted lover, Damien. Tiffany notices Chucky moving around the trailer, but he still appears to not be alive. In a last ditch effort to awaken him, she handcuffs Damien to her bed with Chucky on his chest, and begins to perform a striptease for them.  To incite Chucky, she tells Damien that he can be jealous and will kill anyone who looks at her. When Damien jokes about Chucky's size, he finally comes alive, ripping out his lip piercing. While Damien screams in pain, Chucky smothers him to death with a pillow, as Tiffany watches in delight.

The new Chucky.

After they get reacquainted, Tiffany brings up the ring she found the night he was gunned down, thinking it is an engagement ring. To the contrary, he reveals that he was never going to propose to her, and the ring was one he stole from someone he killed, and planned to sell. Heartbroken, she confines him to a playpen for the night. The next day, she taunts him by throwing him a Wedding Belle doll, with the ring on a necklace. When she leaves to have a bath, Chucky begins sawing out of the pen with the ring. He grabs the bridal doll and a knife, then slowly walks over to Tiffany. He knocks her TV into her bathtub, electrocuting her to death, and then gains further revenge by transferring her soul in the bridal doll. After convincing her that he is the only one who can help her now, he tells her about the Heart of Damballa, the amulet he used to transfer his soul into the original doll, which is what they need to find new bodies. However, it is back with his body, buried in the cemetery back in Hackensack.

In order to get there, Tiffany hatches a plan to get her neighbour, Jesse, to take the two dolls to Hackensack by the next day. Because Jesse wants to take his girlfriend Jade away from her restrictive uncle Warren, he accepts her offer. Once Jesse arrives to help Jade pack, Warren breaks into Jesse's van to plant marijuana. To make sure Warren does not interfere with their plans, Chucky sets off an airbag to launch nails into his face, and then hides his body in the back. Later on the drive, the couple are stopped again by another cop, Norton, who is sent to find the marijuana Warren planted. Worried Norton will find Warren's body, Chucky tosses the marijuana closer to him so he finds it. While Norton interrogates Jesse, Chucky crawls over the Norton's police car, shoves a cloth into Bailey's gas tank and lights it. When Bailey begins to smell the smoke, the dolls wave to him before his car explodes.

Jesse stops at a chapel motel to marry Jade, and when they are gone Chucky stabs Warren to death after he tries to run away. That night in the Honeymoon Suites nearby, the couple are visited by another next door, who are secretly thieves and steal their money, enraging Tiffany. Later that night she kills them, and Chucky is so amazed that he proposes to her. He gives her Jade's ring, and together they make love. The next morning, the couple continue their drive with their friend David, who caught up with them. He reassures them that neither of them are behind the murders happening around them, but is shocked to find Warren's dead body in the back. While confronting them, the dolls jump up and hold them hostage with guns. David, backing up with fear, is accidentally hit by a truck and killed.

After the dolls murder another couple and hijack an RV, they force Jesse to drive to the Hackensack cemetery. Along the way, Jesse and Jade are able to make the dolls argue. While distracted, Jade kicks Tiffany into the oven, and Jesse pushes Chucky out of the window. However, he shoots at Jesse, causing the RV to run off the road and into a ditch. Out of the RV, Chucky captures Jade, and she takes him to his grave site. While a medical examiner is digging up his coffin, Chucky shoots him and orders Jade to open the casket and give him the amulet. Jesse then appears with Tiffany, and they trade hostages. Chucky throws his knife at Jade, but Jesse turns her around and is stabbed in the back. After she pulls the knife out, they are tied up. As Chucky begins the chant, Tiffany tells him to kiss her.

Kissing, Tiffany pulls the knife out of Chucky's pocket and stabs him. Angered, he hits her with a shovel, and they fight until he ultimately stabs and kills her. While looking at his dead bride, Jade knocks him into his grave. She takes his gun, shooting him multiple times and killing him. The next morning, Tiffany gives birth to their child.

Chucky ready to teach Glen how to kill.

Chucky and Tiffany's child Glen has been living in Britain with a ventriloquist named Psychs. Wanting to find their parents, they escape to Hollywood, where new animatronic dolls of them have been made for the film "Chucky Goes Psycho". Glen resurrects them with the Heart of Damballa amulet. After the two kill one of the stage hands, their child announces themself. Chucky and Tiffany cannot agree on their gender, and while Chucky believes he is a boy and gives him the name Glen, Tiffany calls her Glenda. For the welfare of their child, Tiffany decides to quit her murdering habits to set a good example. However, Chucky has no intention of quitting, and tries to teach Glen behind her back.

Chucky arranges a "boys' night out" for him and Glen, which results in them rear-ending Britney Spears' car into a ditch so forcefully that it explodes on impact. They then set their sights on their next victim, the photographer that took the pictures of Chucky. Glen tries to stop their father and save him, but the photographer is so startled by Glen's appearance that he hits a shelf where sulphuric acid falls on him. This causes him to die slowly, as the acid eats away his face. Chucky is so thrilled by this, that he sets up a camera to take a photo of them beside his first victim.

Chucky going after Glen and Tiffany.

During this time, Chucky and Tiffany had come up with a plan to transfer their souls into new human bodies to start a new life. They had chosen the actress Jennifer Tilly and director Redman. And for Glen, they impregnated Jennifer with Chucky's semen. Jennifer is abducted by Chucky while on phone, and tied to her bed, As Tiffany kills Redman, they kidnap Jennifer's limousine driver, Stan, as Chucky's replacement body. The voodoo magic that "fuels" the killer dolls has also accelerated the pregnancy, and she soon gives birth to twins. It is then that Chucky has an epiphany. After several years of being an infamous killer doll, Chucky finally accepts and embraces his circumstances.

Furious with his decision, Tiffany decides to leave with Glen. Chucky attempts to kill Jennifer to stop Tiffany's plans, only to have Stan take the knife instead. Hearing police sirens in the distance, Chucky is forced to flee, with Jennifer being taken to the hospital. Tiffany and Glen follow, and she manages to transfer her soul in the nick of time, as Chucky breaks through the door and axes Tiffany's doll body. Angered by their father, Glen takes the axe and proceeds to impale and dismember Chucky. Glen asks Chucky if he is proud of them, and Chucky congratulates Glen before being decapitated and killed. However, five years later, human Glen is delivered a strange package. When they open it, they find that someone sent them Chucky's dismembered arm, which proceeds to strangle them.

Chucky delivered to Sarah.

Chucky arrives in an unmarked package to the isolated house of Sarah and Nica. As neither of them were expecting the doll, they think nothing of it and throw it away. That same night, Chucky manages to kill Sarah, making it look like a suicide. To help Nica, her sister Barb and her family come up to the house, as well as the family priest, Father Frank. When Barb's young daughter Alice sees Chucky, she quickly adopts him as her new Good Guy doll.

Chucky planning on poisoning the chili.

In the evening, Nica and Alice cook chili for the guests, as Chucky watches. While they leave the room to set the table, Chucky pours rat poison on one of the plates. At dinner time, Father Frank eats the poisoned chili, causing him to feel disorientated. He decides to go home, but while driving back he loses control and dies in a traffic accident. Later in the night, Alice is put to bed with Chucky. A thunderstorm rages in the background, scaring Alice, who hides under her covers. She tells Chucky that she is scared, and Chucky simply laughs at her. To keep her out of the way, he tells her that they are going to play Hide-And-Seek, so she hides in the closet for the night. He locks the door behind her.

When Barb and the nanny Jill are Skyping, Chucky sneaks out of Alice's room. As Jill strips down to her undergarments, Chucky kicks a bucket of rainwater over, which touches Jill's feet and the power outlet beside her. This electrocutes and kills her, and causes a power outage. With her Skype abruptly cut off, Barb decides to try to find Alice, who is not in her room. She goes up into the attic, and discovers Chucky there. She also finds a knife by Chucky, and she places him and the knife down while she looks for Alice. When she turns around, she sees Chucky on the shelf behind her. She notices something on his face, and begins to peel off latex strips, revealing scars underneath. She puts her finger near his mouth to remove another strip, causing Chucky to finally come to life and bite her. She jumps back and falls on the floor, and with her cornered, Chucky stabs her in the eye.

Hearing noises coming from upstairs, Nica climbs up to the attic staircase, only to find Barb dead. Chucky reveals himself, proclaiming that she is next. She manages to get away into Barb's husband Ian's room, who takes her down to the garage to look for Alice. Following them, Chucky gets into the car, and starts revving the engine in an attempt to suffocate her. She smashes the window with a hatchet to get the keys and turn the car off, but Chucky swallows them. However, before too long, Ian rushes back into the garage and blames Nica for the murders. She faints from the stress, so Ian ties her to her chair. He attempts to prove her guilt by playing the nanny cam footage, which he placed in Chucky's head, but is shocked to find that Chucky is the killer. Without time to react, Chucky wheels Nica's wheelchair into Ian, knocking him to the ground. He then grabs Nica's hatchet, and axes his lower jaw clean off.

Nica has wriggled out of her restraints, and Chucky axes her in the knee. She manages to remove the hatchet from her leg, and with the blunt side, knocks Chucky's head clean off. However, as he is a doll, he simply reattaches it. He pushes her over the balcony, where she falls to the ground below. Walking down the stairs, he takes a little time to explain his motives. When he reaches the bottom, the power comes back on, and Nica manages to get her lift. Regardless, the power goes out again and she is forced to hold the door closed, as Chucky slashes her fingers. She takes the knife from him, and plunges the knife in his back. Nica is found by a police officer, and is found guilty for Chucky's crimes.

Chucky at Andy's home.

Tiffany is revealed to still be involved with Chucky, as she bribed another police officer to steal Chucky back for her. She ships him to Alice's new location, her grandmother's house. Chucky suffocates her grandmother with a plastic bag, and successfully performs his ritual with Alice.

Six months later, Chucky is sent back to Andy Barclay's home. Andy leaves the package on his table as he answers his phone. While Andy is talking to his mother, Chucky cuts his way out of the package with his knife. When he turns around, Andy is pointing his shotgun directly at the doll's face. Before he can react, Andy shoots.

The Chucky head.

Andy has kept the Chucky head he shot four years prior, still alive even without the body. He takes the head out of his safe and places it on the table, lighting up a joint after an unsuccessful date with Rachel. Chucky asks for a hit, and Andy puts the joint up to the head's lips. He inhales, but lunges at Andy's hand before exhaling. As Andy walks away from the table to get something to "play" with Chucky with, he taunts Andy about how he will never know if Rachel is a natural redhead. To this remark, Andy takes out a flamethrower and proceeds to torture him.

Meanwhile, Nica has been transferred to the medium security Harrogate mental institution. She attends a group session held by Dr. Foley, and the subject of Nica's past and the murders comes up. While Nica explains that she committed the murders and hopes her niece Alice is okay, Angela interrupts to claim Chucky phoned her to say that he is coming for Nica, now that she can have visitors. In order to help the group make sense of the "Chucky" situation, he goes to his desk and brings out a Good Guy doll, named Chucky. Although some in the group are disturbed by the doll, Madeleine immediately takes to it as her baby, and carries it around with her from then on.

At lunchtime, Nica has a visit from Tiffany, claiming to be Alice's legal guardian. Tiffany explains that Alice has died, and she has left her the Good Guy doll she used in therapy, also named Chucky. Nica throws the doll to Dr. Foley before she exits the room distressed, so he puts it in the group therapy room. Later in the night, Chucky sneaks behind the front desk and steals a scalpel to go after Nica. Slowly walking down the hall, he stops in front of Angela's room as she comes out of the door. He becomes frustrated when she believes he is just a hallucination, and announces that "she's next" as he walks away. Entering Nica's room, he notices that one of the spokes on her wheelchair had been torn out, which she used to slit her wrists to commit suicide. However, Chucky stitches her wrist together to save her life, and writes "NOT SO FAST" into the pool of blood by her bedside. The next morning Nica wakes to hear the alarms sounding throughout the facility as the nurses rush to Angela's room. There she is found dead lying in her bed, her wrists slit. In one hand is the wheelchair spoke Nica used, and written in her blood is "CHUCKY DID IT".

Chucky giving Nica the finger.

At the next group therapy session as they discuss Angela's death, Madeleine comes in with her Chucky as Alice's Chucky doll is already on the couch. Nica becomes convinced that Alice's Chucky still contains the soul of Charles Lee Ray, and demands Dr. Foley prove that it is just a doll. Sighing, he takes the doll and holds a lighter over its hand, melting the plastic until the hand is disfigured. Nica suggests burning the other doll's hand, which causes Madeleine to jump up and leave the group. Malcolm and Nica believe that Madeleine's Chucky is alive, and run after her to destroy it. Malcolm approaches Madeleine as she is standing in front of Angela's open grave, who then throws the doll into it. Malcolm is also pushed into the grave by her. The nurses reach him just as he passes Madeleine her doll back, and as he is pulled out, he looks directly at Nica watching through the window, smirking at her.

Claire returns to the group therapy room and takes the Chucky doll. She goes to dump the doll down the laundry chute, but yells out in pain before she can do so. Looking at her arm, she notices a bite mark as Dr. Foley catches up with her. He thinks that she did it to herself, and she is taken to another room to be restrained. She is given a drug to calm her down, and she is then left alone with the Chucky doll. He walks up to her with a canister of compressed oxygen. He asks her if "compressed" means what he thinks it means, before going to the other end of her gurney. He throws the canister at the ground, which shoots through the skylight above Claire, causing shards of glass to fall and decapitate her.

That night, Andy reads an online article about the connection of the deaths at Harrogate with Nica and Chucky. Laughing, the Chucky head remarks that "he isn't the only one". Andy goes to his gun cabinet and takes out another Good Guy doll, this one with a buzzcut. He has it mailed to Dr. Foley, while he takes his truck and begins the drive to the institution.

Dr. Foley and Nica have a private session, where he hypnotizes her to make her admit that she killed Angela and Claire. Suddenly during the session, Alice's Chucky hits Dr. Foley from behind with a glass bottle, knocking him out. Chucky remarks on how diabolical Dr. Foley is, and how in a way he is a little envious of him. Jumping down from the desk, he grabs a shard of glass and hands it to Nica, telling her that "she knows she wants to". However, before she can do anything, she falls unconscious. The next day as the therapy group waits for Dr. Foley, Malcolm reveals that his new name is Charles. Madeleine leaves the group, and goes into her room to put Chucky down for a nap. But as she places him on her bed, she re-enacts the murder of her own baby with the doll, smothering him with a pillow. After Madeleine finally admits what she has done to Dr. Foley, they bury the doll in a makeshift grave outside. Nica watches the grave at night from the window, and just as the Chucky's hand bursts from the ground, the other Chucky comes behind Nica and injects her with a sedative. As Madeleine is in her room, her Chucky doll comes back to her and they embrace one last time. She asks him to kill her, to which he obliges and chokes her to death by shoving his arm down her throat. Once her body is taken away, Dr. Foley gives the Chucky doll to Carlos and orders him to get rid of it, to which he drops it down the laundry chute.

Carlos staring at the three Chuckies.

As Dr. Foley returns to his office, he finds Nica strapped in a strait-jacket with the short-haired Chucky still on his desk after being delivered. He proceeds to put red heels on Nica's feet, before again being knocked out by Chucky, who offers Nica a glass shard, but she refuses to kill him. Madeleine's Chucky walks into the room, and uses the Damballa incantation to bring life to the short-haired Chucky. Alice's Chucky then explains to Nica that he found a spell on VoodooForDummies.com, allowing him to possess anyone. He reveals that he was able to possess Alice for a short time, but she was killed when one of her victims fought back. Just then Carlos walks into the office, but before he can run he is stabbed in the leg, causing him to fall to the ground. From there, the three Chuckies use their drill, knife, and glass shard to repeatedly stab him until he succumbs and dies. Alice's Chucky welcomes the buzzcut Chucky "to the cult". The buzzcut Chucky goes off to kill Andy while Madeleine's Chucky guards the door to not let anyone in, leaving Alice's Chucky alone with Nica. He finally admits to her that he was never going to kill her, and transfers his soul from the doll into her. Now in Nica's body, he stands up out of the wheelchair and takes the strait-jacket off. Standing over Dr. Foley, he says that "this is for Nica" before stomping the doctor's head in with the red shoes.

Walking through the asylum, Chucky runs into Malcolm, who claims that he killed Ashley. Chucky responds that he did not, and Malcolm's reality begins to fall apart, dropping to his knees. In his moment of confusion, Madeleine's Chucky comes from behind and uses the power drill through his head, coming out of his eye. Meanwhile, the buzzcut Chucky approaches Andy's door, and unlocks it with a keycard. He throws his knife at Andy's leg, knocking him to the ground. Chucky rushes to grab the knife, allowing Andy to restrain him against the wall. He rips off the Chucky's overalls and digs into his stomach, retrieving a gun he hid inside. He shoots Chucky multiple times in the chest before finally stomping his head in. Just as he finishes, he turns around to see Nica, possessed by Chucky. He tries to shoot, but the gun has run out of ammo. As a woman on the PA announces that the facility is on lockdown, Chucky quickly closes the door on him, leaving with one last remark, "tag, you're it pal". While Chucky walks out of the asylum, Madeleine's Chucky puts down the drill and goes into doll mode. Chucky reunites with Tiffany at the asylum gate, and the two share a kiss. They get into the car, and Tiffany begins to feel bad about Alice, and that it was nice to have her around. However, Chucky simply says "fuck that kid", and the two start laughing before driving away.

Before Andy leaves to go after Nica, he sends Kyle to his cabin. She is instantly recognized by the Chucky head as she enters Andy's cabin, and she then continues torturing the head before disposing of him.

Chucky: Season 1 (2021)

Jake's Chucky

Jake Wheeler finds Chucky at a yard sale and buys him for $10 to use his head as part of his doll sculpture. Unknown to him, Chucky steals a butcher knife from the yard sale before he is taken away. Later that night at Jake's house, his father Lucas smashes his doll sculpture in a fit of drunken rage. Chucky manages to hide under the bed before he can be destroyed, and is later found by Jake along with a bloody chunk of his cat's fur. The next day, Jake discovers that vintage Good Guy dolls are worth a lot of money, so he elects to take Chucky with him to school to protect him from Lucas. During Biology class, Lexy mass texts a fake GoFundMe about Jake to the entire class, ridiculing him. When the bell rings, Jake gives his teacher Miss Fairchild Chucky for safekeeping until he sells him. Miss Fairchild also stops Lexy, making her stay behind in class so she can get the principal. While waiting, Chucky scares her and makes her drop her phone, which he swipes without her knowledge. Frightened, Lexy quickly leaves the room when the teacher returns; Miss Fairchild then locks the doll in the cabinet and exits with the key.

The next morning, Chucky somehow manages to escape the cabinet and makes his way back to the Wheeler house. Curious from a strange phone call last night, Jake checks Chucky's batteries and is alarmed to find he has been running without any this entire time. He throws the doll into the garbage can outside, believing that to be the end of it. However, Chucky reappears at the school talent show later that night, seated behind Jake. Once he picks the doll up, Chucky whispers his plan to Jake about the two of them performing a ventriloquist act. On stage, Chucky reveals that he has Lexy's phone, and begins to read off intimate details in a profanity-filled speech. Jake is eventually led away by the principal, and promptly suspended as a result of Chucky's performance. Upon returning home, Jake and his father have a heated arguement which leads to Lucas hitting him and sending him to his room. Chucky remains in the living room with Lucas, who does not see him drink his whisky and sneak downstairs to shut off the power. Lucas goes to the basement and fixes the power, only to see Chucky waiting for him. He vomits up the whisky onto Lucas' bare feet and an exposed cable, causing him to be electrocuted to death. Jake and Chucky are then taken to live with his Uncle Logan and Aunt Bree. Once they are alone in Jake's new room, Chucky finally reveals himself, remarking that Lucas was an asshole who got what he deserved.

ChuckyHalloween

Chucky trick-or-treating.

A week later, Chucky kills Logan and Bree's housekeeper while everyone else is out of the house. Jake confronts the doll, who simply replies that he didn't kill her and asks Jake to trust him. Chucky tries to reason with him that they only kill people who have it coming, and that he is trying to help him. He believes that some just people deserve to die, and already has his sights set on his next target: Lexy. On Halloween night, Chucky snoops through Lexy's social media and learns she is attending a party. He sneaks out of the house and pretends to be a child trick-or-treating, hiding his face behind a Hello Kitty mask. Approaching a woman's house, he asks her where the location of the party is, and in return for the information gives her an apple with a razor blade inside.

At the party, he meets Lexy's sister Caroline and plays a videogame with her. He compliments her potential and attempts to persuade her to kill Lexy. However, she insists that killing and swearing are bad because her mother Michelle told her so, causing him to remark that she is making her way up his list. Caroline tells him where Lexy is, so he goes upstairs and crawls under the bed that she and her boyfriend Junior are on. He attempts to stab them multiple times through the bed to no avail, and they eventually leave the room to go back downstairs. Once the party is finished, Lexy tries to get her sister to leave but she refuses. Jake runs into them, and sees Chucky rising up behind her with a knife. Jake grabs him before he can strike, and quickly leaves back to the Wheeler house. While in their room, Chucky apologizes for hitting him in the eye and promises to never do that again, which Jake doesn't believe. He again tries to convince Jake that some people deserve to die, and that the world is kill or be killed. Handing him the knife, Chucky tells him to kill Lexy before she can humiliate him again.

Jake has an opportunity to kill her but hesitates and is unable to do it. Chucky reprimands him for his "completion anxiety", and decides that he will solve his Lexy problem for him, by giving her Chucky for her sister Caroline. She immediately takes to her new doll friend, and carries him around with her everywhere. Lexy prepares for a party she is holding at her house, unaware Chucky is following right behind her with his knife. However, he is forced to halt his plan once she invites her party guests inside, and is taken away by Caroline. Later in the evening, Caroline and Chucky are tucked into her bed to go to sleep. He invites Caroline to come with him to kill her sister, but she refuses as she is too tired. Remarking "you snooze you lose", he cuts himself out of the sheets and follows who he believes to be Lexy along the upstairs hallway and slashes this person in the leg. He soon discovers this person is actually Oliver, and regardless of his mistake decides to stab him to death. He continues upstairs and waits for Lexy to enter her bedroom. Placing his shoes behind a curtain, he sneaks behind her and jumps on her back while she looks at them. Still on her back, he attempts to strangle her with her necklace as she frantically tries to get him off. She drops her blunt on the ground, inadvertently setting the room and house on fire. After throwing Chucky over her head, she is forced into a corner as he slowly approaches her with his knife. But he is unable to kill her, and is consumed by the flames allowing her to escape the house unharmed.

The disfigured Chucky.

At the hospital, Jake and Lexy realize Chucky was probably not killed from the house fire, and go back to find him. While searching the house, the two teenagers get into an argument and Lexy accidentally falls off the railing. As Jake holds onto her hand preventing her fall, Chucky finally appears down below, partially burned and disfigured on one side. He tries to convince Jake to let go of Lexy and let her fall to her death, to stop being a "scared little pussy" and become a man. Jake insists that he is not a killer and slowly pulls Lexy up as Chucky attempts to stab her from below. Just then, Detective Peyton arrives at the house causing Chucky to hide his knife and go back into "doll mode". As he was asked by Lexy's father to get the doll for Caroline, he takes it back to the hospital. He brings the doll into Caroline's hospital room and leaves him on the shelf. With Peyton looking away, Chucky throws a scalpel into his back, directly hitting his spinal cord. He collapses on the ground, no longer able to move as he watches Chucky grab from a container of used syringes. He repeatedly stabs him in the heart with multiple needles until he begins to bleed from every orifice and dies. In his final move, he disconnects Caroline's oxygen to force the nurses back into her room and discover Peyton's corpse. As Jake, Devon and Lexy watch through the screen, Chucky gives them the middle finger.

The next day, Caroline finally wakes up and demands to see Chucky. After Nathan shows her the disfigured doll, she screams in fear so much that he gets rid of Chucky by throwing him down the needle disposal chute. He lands in the disposal bin and is injected with multiple needles, giving him a high before he eventually gets out. He makes his way back to the Cross house, and learns that Caroline as a new replacement Good Guy doll. He breaks into the home while Caroline is sleeping and transfers his soul from his disfigured body into the new doll. At the town meeting the next day, Chucky proceeds to decapitate Principal McVey behind the curtain. When her name is called, he rolls her head out before opening the curtains to display her corpse to the public.

Another Chucky doll, the one with the melted fingers from Harrogate, escaped from the facility and was given to a family in South Carolina. Andy and Kyle have tracked him down, and persuade the family's child Becky to bring her doll out for them to see. Chucky speaks in his Good Guy voice, referring to himself as Charlie, although hesitating slightly at remembering his fake name. While Becky hugs her doll, Chucky looks directly at Andy, remarking that "you made me do this" before preparing to stab the girl. However, Andy quickly pulls out his gun and shoots Chucky in the head, causing Becky to drop him in fear. Screaming "fuck you Andy", Chucky is shot repeatedly in the chest by Andy and Kyle until he finally dies. With their job finished, the two exit the house and drive away on the search for the remaining doll, Jake's Chucky in Hackensack.

That night, Jake, Devon and Lexy decide to set a trap for Chucky at the Wheeler house. Lexy decides to be the bait, and hides in Jake's room to wait for the doll. With Jake and Devon distracted downstairs, Chucky breaks into the house by climbing down the chimney and approaches Lexy. He attempts to get her to turn on Jake and kill him, reasoning that she already loves hurting him. While he talks with Lexy, Jake tries sneaking up behind him, but Chucky hears him coming and slashes him in the leg before making his escape. He is stopped by Devon who electrocutes him with his taser, although this only halts him briefly. With Devon's taser still recharging, Chucky grabs his knife and runs down the hallway downstairs. Just then, Detective Evans enters the house looking for her son. Chucky leaps onto her back and the resulting struggle causes Detective Evans to fall down a flight of stairs and break her neck, killing her instantly. Chucky then gets up and leaves the house.

While Jake waits at the bus station to leave town, he spots a delivery man carrying a Good Guy doll. He pays the man all of his money to get the doll and to learn where it was being delivered: Charles Lee Ray's childhood home. Removing the doll from the box, he takes it back to Lexy's house. The two learn that Devon is at Charles' house, and try to make a plan to help him. However, as they discuss their ideas, Chucky's new spell goes into effect and causes the Good Guy doll to come alive. Chucky grabs a knife from the kitchen and begins advancing on the teenagers. Before he can strike, Kyle enters the house and shoots part of his face off. While he struggles on the ground, she shoots him multiple times in the chest and kills him.

The next day, the town holds their annual screening of Frankenstein at the local theatre. Tiffany, posing as Jennifer Tilly, reveals she has donated 72 Good Guy dolls to hospitals across the country, which will be driven to the airport after the movie is finished. The Mayor's daughter Caroline wants the doll Tiffany is holding, so she gives the doll to the girl to take into the theatre. With everyone distracted by the movie, Chucky gets up and sneaks underneath the chairs. He begins stabbing and killing people through the bottoms of their chairs, including Caroline's father Nathan. Jake makes it to the theatre as everyone runs for their lives, facing Chucky alone as Devon leads Caroline out to safety. As Chucky slowly walks towards him, he observes that after he kills Jake nobody is going to remember him or anyone who died there tonight, all they will remember is the number of people he killed, and Chucky's name. As Jake tries to run across the aisles, Chucky beats him there and slashes his leg, allowing him to jump on top of Jake. He struggles to fight back against Chucky's strength as he slowly inches the knife closer to his face, but manages to throw the doll off of him. Using his bare hands, Jake crushes Chucky's throat to the point where his eyes pop out of his head, killing him once and for all.

Junior's Chucky

Chucky realizes that Jake is no longer willing to help him, and sets his sights on the boy's cousin, Junior. Chucky tags along when Bree drives Junior to her therapy session, and follows her into the building as her son waits in the car. After her session is finished, she stands by the window while looks outside at the view. With this prime opportunity, Chucky pushes the mail cart directly into her, causing her to fall out of the window and land directly onto her car, forcing Junior to witness her supposed "suicide".

After Bree's wake the following day, Junior returns home and finds Chucky waiting for him in his room. He talks with the boy about how much he thinks is father Logan is an asshole, and how he kissed another woman at Bree's wake. Acting shocked, Chucky promises Junior he'll be there for him. He reasons that some people just deserve to die, and that everything was fine before his cousin Jake moved in. He is able to convince Junior to kill Logan, but he is unsure if he can do it. However, the doll comments that Jake was also unsure, but Junior is better than is cousin and demands he prove it. They wait for Logan to return from a night of drinking, where he finds his son sitting in his room with Chucky. The doll turns his head 180 degrees and proceeds to talk to Logan in his Good Guy voice. Logan grabs Chucky to try to turn him off, but Junior takes him back and holds onto as the doll continues talking. In his Good Guy voice, Chucky remarks about how much Logan drinks, and that he is just like his loser brother Lucas. Angered, Logan tries to wrestle the doll from his son's hands, only for Chucky to finally reveal himself. Junior holds Chucky up to Logan's face as he continues talking for Junior. He grills him about his supposed affair with the woman from Bree's wake, and that he was the reason she committed suicide. Junior then proceeds to bludgeon Logan to death, using Chucky's doll body as his weapon.

Unbeknownst to Junior, Chucky was using Junior to complete a Voodoo spell. Chucky used Tiffany's celebrity wealth to purchase 72 Good Guy dolls, which were delivered to his childhood home. He required an innocent child become corrupted kill for him, in order to create his army. The moment Junior began beating Logan to death, all 72 dolls sprung to live as new Chuckies.

Stashing Logan's body in the closet, Chucky and Junior watch as Andy Barclay pulls up to the Wheeler house. Junior answers the door and keeps the man preoccupied as Chucky drags Logan's corpse down the laundry chute, then hides in the toilet until Andy leaves. Junior questions why he didn't kill him, to which Chucky replies that Andy had a gun and that he has bigger plans in store for his longtime nemesis. The two then head back to Charles Lee Ray's childhood home, and Chucky excitedly runs over to Tiffany, who begins tickling him and picks him up for a kiss. She then takes him downstairs to his newly possessed army of 72 Good Guy dolls, and sets him down so he can deliver a speech to his army for their upcoming killing spree.

ChuckyArmy

The Chucky army.

Tiffany leaves the house to prepare the delivery of the dolls to the theatre, and returns to find Chucky and Nica/Chucky engaged in a conversation. She tries to get the doll's attention, but when she is ignored, she angrily remarks that he is the most self-involved man she's ever met. She hits Nica/Chucky so hard that she forces Nica to regain control. The Chucky doll apologizes for his behavior, and as he mentions that "getting over himself" takes real sacrifice, demands that Tiffany kill Nica. When she hesitates because of her feelings for Nica, Chucky orders Junior to do it instead. However, Tiffany snaps and decapitates Chucky with her nail file. Holding his head, she tells him that she is done with him for good, and finally admits to him that she was the one who called the police the night he was gunned down in 1988. Chucky's head is left behind with Devon, who commands his body to stand up and kill the boy. Before he can reach him, Andy breaks into the house and repeatedly smashes the body with a baseball bat, then kicks it under the couch. Freeing Devon, he turns his attention to the Chucky head and demands to know where the other Chuckies were taken. Just as Chucky refuses to answer, Kyle is heard outside the house, looking for Andy. Chucky uses his Good Guy voice to pose as a child calling for help, luring Kyle to open the front door and activate the bomb Tiffany left. The Chucky head is destroyed in the resulting explosion.

Junior takes another Chucky doll with him to the theatre, and uses him to lure Lexy through the theatre, as he pretends to be held at knifepoint by the doll on his back. She finally catches up to him backstage, where Chucky attempts to persuade her to join them and become a killer. Lexy is able to remind Junior that why she fell in love with him, causing Junior's loyalties to falter as Chucky commands him to kill her. He defies the doll's influence, running past Lexy and stabbing Chucky in the chest. However, Chucky manages to stab Junior in the chest as well, causing both to die.

Nica/Chucky

Nica/Chucky and Tiffany have made their way back to Hackensack, and are staying at the local hotel. They have kidnapped two men, with Chucky having already killed one of them and forcing the other man to watch them make out while he is bound and gagged. Getting off the bed, Tiffany mentions that she is hungry and wants a snack. This angers Chucky, and the two get into an argument about how much Tiffany likes to eat before she gets upset and storms out of the room. Chucky then complains to the man about how although his time with Tiffany is the best time he's had in his life, she also drives him to the point that he wants to kill her. He grabs his knife and slices into the man's head. However, the sight of blood on the knife allows Nica to regain control of her body and she collapses to the ground. She is able to untie one of the man's hands, but he accidentally hits her in the head causing Chucky to again regain control. Getting up off the ground, he tells the man that they should keep "this Nica bullshit" between them and slits his throat.

Later that day, Chucky makes snide comments to Tiffany as she tries to fit one of the mens' bodies into a suitcase. They have a brief fight about cutting the body into smaller pieces, so Tiffany uses a cleaver to cut one of the man's hands off. The resulting blood splatters on Chucky's face, causing Nica to regain control again.

Tiffany brings Nica to Charles Lee Ray's childhood home, and leaves her bound and gagged. Sometime during the night Chucky is able to regain control, and fakes being Nica when Devon breaks into the house. After being untied, Chucky begins laughing and takes Devon's taser gun from his backpack to electrocute him. With the boy incapacitated, Chucky ties him up and leaves him in the basement, where an army of 72 Good Guy dolls are standing. Chucky then goes back upstairs and continues to fake being Nica, laying on the ground as Tiffany returns. While Tiffany prepares to drug her, Chucky sweeps and knocks her down. Holding a knife over her head, Chucky laments how disappointed he is in her and prepares to kill her. He stops when she reminds him that he needs her or their plan won't work. He ignores her and again goes to stab her, but halts when Junior and his Chucky doll enter the house, reminding Nica/Chucky that they do in fact need Tiffany. Nica/Chucky backs off, and follows Tiffany, Junior and the Chucky doll downstairs where the army of 72 possessed Good Guy dolls are waiting.

As Tiffany leaves the house to prepare the delivery of the dolls to the theatre, Chucky and Nica/Chucky discuss their escapades. She turns in time to hear Nica/Chucky remark that he gets a lot of action in a woman's body, to which Tiffany retorts that he also has sex with men. Fed up with Chucky's behavior, she calls him out on not knowing how to treat a lady. Nica/Chucky stands up and states that Tiffany isn't a lady, causing Tiffany to slap him so hard that he falls to the ground, causing Nica to regain control.

Chucky: Season 2 (2022)

On the way to the airport, three of the Chuckies escaped from their Good Guy boxes and anxiously await their time to start stabbing. While arguing, one of the Chuckies spots Andy's reflection in the mirror and questions if he knows him, as another notices Tiffany and remarks that she is hot. In the confusion, Andy swerves the van hard enough to make Tiffany drop her gun, then grabs it and shoots Tiffany's head off. One of the Chuckies then finally realizes who Andy is, and orders the rest of the Chuckies to attack. They cut their way out of their boxes, and begin climbing on top of the van and towards the front. However, before they can reach him, Andy drives off the cliff of the Hackensack Gorge, and the Chuckies fall to their deaths.

Six months later, another Chucky begins making anonymous calls to Jake, asking for "Tamara". After three calls, he reveals he was only doing this to confirm that Jake is home, and then hangs up. This heightens Jake's suspicions, and video calls Devon to tell him about the calls. Suddenly, Chucky joins in their video call, filming himself being let into the Cross' house by Caroline. Although they call the police as a precaution, Chucky is nowhere to be found.

A couple days later, Chucky arrives back at the Cross' house with Jake's foster brother Gary, armed with a homemade fertilizer bomb. They are let in by Caroline, and sit on the couch waiting for Devon and Jake to come downstairs. He reveals to them that he is planning on killing them all, as revenge for foiling his earlier plans, and will detonate his bomb as soon as Lexy arrives. He also mentions that there are several more Chuckies still alive, and his sacrifice will not effect his plans. When Lexy begins descending the stairs Devon uses his taser on Chucky, causing him to fall and drop the bomb. Gary picks it up and runs into the kitchen, but stops upon seeing the Wedding Belle doll by the table. Chucky takes this opportunity to run behind Gary and detonate the bomb, killing the both of them. Jake, Devon and Lexy are blamed for Gary's death and are sent to a reformatory Catholic school called Incarnate Lord, which used to be the orphanage where Chucky stayed as a youth.

Another Chucky doll is sent to Incarnate Lord, where the nuns believe he is a donation to their upcoming Christmas toy drive. He is placed with the other toys as Sister Elizabeth fills out nametags, allowing him to sneak up behind her. He jumps up in front of and shouts "boo", causing her to fall backwards and have a heart attack. After the nun's death, Jake realizes that Chucky has followed them to the Catholic school. He manages to avoid Jake by escaping up the chimney, but not before snapping a photo of him. He is later found by Lexy's roommate Nadine, who hides him under her bed while she sleeps. Chucky snaps a photo of Lexy snorting Clonazepam before leaving their room. Devon and Jake follow him to the bathroom, but are unable to find him as he hides in the towel bin. He tackles Jake to the floor and prepares to stab him in the back, but Devon kicks him into a shower. While Devon pins him to the ground, Jake goes through Chucky's phone. Before Devon can stab Chucky, Jake stops him as he understands this Chucky was not sent to kill them, but is a scout collecting information. The next day, Devon and Jake reveal to Lexy and Nadine that they have Scout Chucky tied and gagged and are prepared to find out all they can from him.

Jake and Devon try torture, but Scout Chucky still refuses to speak. They decide to reprogram Chucky by breaking his psyche, forcing him to watch violent movies as they overload his senses. He eventually vomits and begs them to end it, now having an aversion to violence. In phase two of their plan, Nadine makes him watch child-friendly cartoons, causing him to vomit again. Come the morning, Chucky has been broken and begins acting like a docile Good Guy doll. However, this also caused his memories to be completely wiped and he is unable to answer any questions about the rest of the Chucky's plans. Nadine volunteers to "babysit" the Good Chucky, but has to leave when her class begins. Lexy is forced to watch him for an hour as the others have class, but abandons Chucky once it becomes too difficult to deal with her unprocessed emotions. Chucky wanders out of the room, making his way to Father Bryce's office and sits on his desk. While singing a song, Good Chucky is confronted by Buff Chucky, who intends on killing him. Buff Chucky at first gets the upper hand, but Good Chucky manages to crucify him on the wall with his own knives. He vomits at what he had done, and collapses after opening the door for Jake and Devon.

Good Chucky becomes confused at his identity after Devon blames him for the deaths of his mother, Lexy's father, and Jake's family. He understands that he came from someone bad, and fears that he could hurt Jake if there is still evil within him. To reassure him, Jake comes up with the idea of baptizing Good Chucky to rid him of his "evil", and asks Nadine for help. As part of the baptism, Jake and Nadine become his godparents. Good Chucky is taken back to Jake and Devon's room, where he kills a fly by stabbing it with a scalpel. Devon becomes concerned when this does not make Chucky vomit, meaning he no longer has an aversion to violence. That evening, the kids prepare to go after the Colonel. While Lexy has a panic attack, Good Chucky goes over to her and offers her prescription medication. Andy then enters their room, confused as to why the kids are friends with Good Chucky. Before Andy can kill him, Dr. Mixter takes Good Chucky at gunpoint and locks the others in the room. Good Chucky escapes after Andy breaks out of the room and tackles Dr. Mixter, running up the stairs and to the tower. Nadine follows after him, where he insists that he is still bad. She reminds him that he has been baptized and she is his godmother, which he confuses for a fairy godmother. He asks if she knows what fairies like to do, pushing her out of the tower and to her death.

After Chucky kills Nadine, Jake is forced to hand the doll over to Dr. Mixter. with the understanding that his body will be used to house Chucky Prime's soul that is trapped in Nica. They decide to perform an exorcism on Good Chucky, in order to consign his soul to hell and leave his body an empty vessel. The next morning as everyone prepares for the exorcism, Good Chucky is bound tight with rope. He tries to apologize to Jake over killing Nadine. However, when Jake gets close Chucky headbutts him and laughs. Andy decides to place a mask over Chucky's mouth and locks him in a bookcase until they are ready to proceed. With everyone out of the study hall, Glenda takes this opportunity to speak to Chucky and demands to know why he lied to them about their upbringing. Before he answers, he asks Glenda to grab him a knife, but Glenda decides to simply walk away. Chucky remarks to them that no matter what they think, they are still his child and a killer at heart.

During the exorcism, Father Bryce pours holy water on Chucky's head which burns him as it evaporates. Everyone restrains Chucky as Father Bryce and Sister Catherine perform the exorcism. Chucky attempts to antagonize everyone, making comments on Devon's mother, Andy's babysitter, Jake's father, and Nica's family. Father Bryce tells them all to ignore his words, and urges them all to continue chanting. Chucky vomits then begins convulsing and seemingly faints. When Father Bryce comes in closer to look, Chucky bites a chunk of his lip off. After this little scare, they continue chanting as Father Bryce throws holy water on him. Suddenly, Chucky breaks free from his bonds and flies into the air. Although his soul left the doll, it found a new home in Father Bryce. The two fight over control of the body, resulting in it exploding and killing the both of them.

Meanwhile, a second Chucky is delivered to Incarnate Lord, but this Chucky is unlike the others, as he is very muscular and has a deeper voice. Buff Chucky sneaks into the confession booth and strangles Father O'Malley with his own Rosary as Nadine gives her confession. Then, he sets his sights on Trevor and follows him into Lexy and Nadine's room. He runs up and hits Trevor in the face so hard he flies backwards and hits the ground. He kills the boy when he punches him in the chest with such force, his chest cavity is hollowed as he grabs hold of his heart. Moving along quickly, he makes his way to Father Bryce's office to confront Good Chucky, with the intent of disposing of him before going after Jake, Devon and Lexy. Buff Chucky at first gets the upper hand, but Good Chucky manages to crucify him on the wall with his own knives, with the final knife impaling his heart.

Sister Ruth disposes of him in the garbage can in her office. While she works, Buff Chucky seemingly resurrects himself, rising out of the garbage can. She becomes convinced that he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, and asks to serve him. He takes advantage of this, making her his servant, until he learns the Colonel has arrived at the school. That evening, he confronts the Colonel meaning to dispose of him. However, the Colonel poisoned the communion wafers he has been eating with arsenic, which kills him.

The Colonel

The Colonel.

One of the 72 Good Guy dolls in the van is a bald Chucky, secretly known as "The Colonel". Although Andy crashes the van down the Hackensack Gorge, the Colonel survives the fall. He has two Chuckies drag Andy to his hideout, a secluded cabin nearby Incarnate Lord. Over time, he loses his sanity and kills all the other Chuckies, littering the forest with their corpses. He spends the next year torturing Andy, by slowly removing his flesh to eat. The two surviving Chuckies he keeps as his soldiers, and sends them to do his bidding. He first orders Scout Chucky to collect information on Jake, Devon and Lexy. After he loses contact with the scout, he sends in Buff Chucky to murder them. Buff Chucky disposes of Trevor and Father O'Malley, and their corpses are taken back to the cabin.

Dr. Mixter enters the cabin and informs him that the Chucky inside Nica, "Chucky Prime", is coming. The Colonel is not concerned by this, as he believes Chucky Prime is not a threat. She also tells him that Buff Chucky is dead, his Scout is unaccounted for, and the kids are still alive. When Dr. Mixter asks to kill the kids for him, he remarks that he will be the one to kill them as he is "all the Chucky anybody ever needs". He orders her to take him into the school, and arrives to find both Chuckies are still alive, marking them as traitors. Before they enter, Dr. Mixter reminds him that he must make the kids' deaths look like suicides or accidents. During the evening, he confronts Buff Chucky. He quickly takes care of him without lifting a finger, by secretly poisoning the communion wafers that he has been eating with arsenic. Before he can make it to Jake and Devon's room, Andy stabs the Colonel in the head with scissors. He collapses after opening the door to their room, and dies.

Chucky Prime

Tiffany has kept Nica prisoner for a year after amputating her arms and legs. However, unknown to Tiffany, Nica has begun working together with the Chucky sharing her body. They both share the same goals, to become separated and to get revenge on Tiffany. Chucky has been in contact with his old therapist, Dr. Mixter, and the two came up with a plan to separate him from Nica. All they have to do is get Nica to Incarnate Lord.

When Glen and Glenda come to visit Tiffany in her Beverly Hills mansion, they find Nica gagged in a locked bedroom. The twins agree to help her escape, and while alone with Nica, Glenda accidentally pricks their finger. The sight of blood allows Chucky to take control, who instantly recognizes Glenda. he introduces himself as Glenda's father, but they do not believe him, claiming their father abandoned them as a child. Chucky remarks that he wanted to stay, but it was Tiffany who drove him away. He then calls them the nickname "Shitface", and Glenda begins to believe him. Chucky reveals that he has a plan on how to get revenge on Tiffany, which Glenda agrees to take part.

Three months later, Tiffany awakens to find the Tiffany doll's decapitated head next to her in bed. She slices open her palm and sticks her bloody hand in Nica's face, forcing Chucky to take control. Tiffany demands to know how the doll head got into her bed, causing Chucky to begin laughing. He explains that she only thinks he is stuck in the wheelchair, but he is coming to kill her. That night, Glen and Glenda proceed with Nica's plan to free her. While Tiffany is distracted with a surprise party, Glen rescues Nica and the two head for the elevator, only to find Joe Pantoliano's corpse inside. This sight is enough for Chucky to take control, confusing Glen long enough for Glenda to knock them unconscious. They then proceed with Chucky's plan, giving him his prosthetic arms and a gun in one hand, and head for Tiffany. He points his gun at her face and pulls the trigger, but is angered to discover that there are no bullets in the gun. Tiffany uses this opportunity to slap Chucky in the face, causing Nica to regain control. Nica takes this opportunity to escape with Glenda and Kyle, heading for Incarnate Lord.

On the way there, Kyle asks Nica to speak with Chucky, cutting open her palm to force him into control. Chucky is surprised to see Kyle survived the explosion, as she demands to know Andy's location. He lies, telling her he killed him, but Kyle does not believe him. Knocking the gun out of Kyle's hand, Chucky demands Glenda kill her. However, she refuses and asks Kyle to turn him back. She slaps him, allowing Nica to regain control. Upon finally arriving at Incarnate Lord, an exorcism is performed to remove the soul from Scout Chucky's Good Guy body to allow the Chucky inside Nica to possess it. Nica chants the Damballa ritual and successfully separates the two of them. With Chucky finally back in a doll body, Jake grabs him and tries to drown him in holy water. He stops as Sister Ruth approaches holding Lexy hostage. He hands Chucky over to Dr. Mixter, and the two make their way out of Incarnate Lord. Before they leave, Chucky switches bodies with Dr. Mixter, allowing him to flee the school as she is shot to death in Chucky's doll body. He then makes his way back to Dr. Mixter's office in Hackensack, where a spare Good guy doll is being kept in her wall safe. After transferring his soul into the doll, he sets his sights back on finishing off Lexy, Devon and Jake.

After buying himself the "world's quietest chainsaw", Chucky breaks into the Cross residence just as Tiffany does the same. As Michelle is distracted talking with Tiffany, Chucky lunges at her from behind and slices her in half with his chainsaw. Chucky announces to Tiffany that he is going after the three remaining kids, and demands to know where Glen and Glenda are as they disobeyed him. Tiffany refuses to answer, but before Chucky can kill her Lexy jumps on top of him and grabs his chainsaw. She slices his face multiple times and kills him.

Wedding Belle Chucky

WeddingBelleChucky

Wedding Belle Chucky.

Dr. Mixter disguises another Chucky as a Wedding Belle doll, and gives it to Caroline during one of their therapy sessions under the guise of it helping her get over her fear of dolls. After Lexy is sent away to Incarnate Lord, Chucky spends a few months alone with her, and uses this time to brainwash her. He convinces her that the Crosses are not her real family and they only adopted her, explaining why she is so different from them. He promises that her "real" mother, Tiffany, will come back for her.

Three weeks later, Tiffany has taken Caroline and the Wedding Belle doll to Times Square. She finally attempts the ritual to transfer her soul into the doll, but it does not work. As the doll rises up on its own, Chucky removes his contact lenses and wig much to Tiffany's horror. He then proceeds to advance on her with a knife.

Chucky: Season 3 (2023)

Caroline's Chucky

As Chucky advances towards Tiffany, he suddenly stops and goes into his doll mode as the police break down the door to arrest her. Caroline sneaks out of the hotel with Chucky in her arms, but is spotted by Nica. She chases after them, but she is unable to follow them when they head down the stairs into the subway. Making their way through the subway, Chucky whistles for a cab. The driver at first believes Chucky is just an AI-powered robot doll, but becomes disturbed as Chucky and Caroline discuss his upcoming plans for his "kill list", to go after his remaining enemies: Andy, Kyle, Nica, Jake, Devon and Lexy. Chucky compliments Caroline for her potential to become a serial killer, but she corrects him as she has never actually killed anyone before. When he offers to teach her how to kill, the cab driver has had enough and pulls into an alleyway, demanding they get out. Noticing an umbrella by his feet, Chucky pulls the driver's seat down and shoves the umbrella into his mouth. After forcing the umbrella all the way in, he opens it and explodes his throat.

Chucky and Caroline begin their quest to complete his "kill list", starting first with Andy. They break into his house, knocking him unconscious with a tranquilizer injection to the neck and tying his limbs to his bed. Commenting on how Andy is his "white whale", he stabs him multiple times in the chest and head until he finally stops screaming and dies. Unfortunately for Chucky, this is revealed to just be a dream. Upon waking up in his hotel bed, Chucky discovers that he is losing his hair and getting wrinkles under his eyes. Taking the Voodoo For Dummies book from sleeping Caroline's arms, he reads what to do with signs of aging. As step one is "vacate the vessel", he attempts to transfer his soul into Caroline, but learns that he does not work. Caroline wakes up, and informs him that as his vessel is aging, he must see a voodoo doctor.

In the doctor's office, he is physically examined by Dr. Rosen. When asked if he has been practicing any other religions, Chucky admits he had been involved in an exorcism last year. Dr. Rosen reveals Chucky has been infected with Christian magic, meaning Damballa has abandoned him, he is dying and he can no longer possess other vessels. The only cure is a ritual that hasn't been attempted since the Crusades, which involves six people being sacrificed inside of an evil house.

Chucky and Caroline head to Amityville, New York to the Amityville Horror House, where a party is being held inside. The two are let inside when Caroline pretends to be lost. Although he murders all eight people inside the ritual is unsuccessful, concluding that the house wasn't evil enough. Chucky then realizes the White House is evil enough, and that he has a way in through the recent death of the President's youngest son Joseph. As Caroline prepares Chucky by using makeup to cover up his wrinkles, she is saddened as she cannot come with him. Chucky explains that he killed her father because he was jealous of him for having such a great kid in Caroline. After the two share a hug, Caroline tells him that he must reapply the makeup every 12 hours.

Henry's Chucky

At the President's son Joseph's funeral, Chucky hides behind the boy's grave as James and his family mourn. His son Henry spots the doll and picks him up, allowing Chucky to introduce himself as "Joseph". Charlotte, happy to see Henry smile for the first time in months, lets him keep the doll. Chucky is brought into the White House, despite his skeleton appearing in the X-ray scanner.

One night, there is a power outage in the White House. Although Henry is escorted out with his family to an elevator, Henry informs his Secret Service agent Teddy that "Joseph" is missing. Teddy cannot find the doll in Henry's room, and instead sees Chucky laying on the floor in the hallway. He brings the boy his doll, and they all begin their descent in the elevator to the underground bunker. One of the agents has a K-9 with him, who begins snarling and barking at Chucky. Suddenly, the power shuts off in the elevator's back-up generator. When it turns back on again, the agent with the K-9 has a bleeding bite mark on his hand.

The next morning, Henry tells his father James that "Joseph" doesn't want to go to school, and instead wants to go to work with him and see the Oval Office. He acquiesces, and sits the doll down in a chair while he discusses the power outage with his Vice President and Press Secretary. When the three of them leave for a meeting, Chucky gets out of the chair and sits himself behind the Resolute Desk, stealing a sharp letter opener. James eventually returns to the Oval Office, and returns Chucky to Henry's room. Once Henry comes back from school, he asks his agent Teddy to do a sweep of his room as he is still nervous from the previous night. Teddy immediately spots Chucky sitting in a small rocking chair, and notices the letter opener tucked into his overalls. As Teddy takes the letter opener, Chucky quickly snatches the agent's gun and shoots him in the head. He then places the gun back into Teddy's hand, to frame it as a suicide, and hides himself in the corner of the bedroom.

The bedroom is cordoned off as a crime scene, allowing Chucky to spend the night alone. He uses this opportunity to send three text messages to Jake, Devon and Lexy, and then calls Jake from an untraceable number. When Jake demands to know where Chucky is, he taunts that he is more of a "Hide-and-Seek kind of a guy", but gives them a hint that his new place is "pretty strict about visitors". The next day Chucky is returned to Henry, and he has Henry convince his father to take the doll to the Oval Office again, as James has a meeting with a government agent named Pryce. After their meeting Chucky is left alone again, and hides in the Oval Office until the evening. Before heading off, James mentions to his secretary Samantha that he has lost track of the doll. As Samantha begins to leave work, she decides to look in the Oval Office for the doll, which she spots very easily as Chucky is laying on the floor. However, as she picks him up, he slashes her neck twice with the letter opener. Her head is nearly decapitated as she collapses on the ground and dies.

ChuckyFaceTime

Chucky FaceTiming Jake, Devon and Lexy.

The next afternoon, Miss Fairchild has a meeting with Charlotte over her son Grant befriending Jake, Devon and Lexy. During their talk, Charlotte suddenly has to leave as Pryce texts her, leaving Miss Fairchild alone. Hiding behind an American flag on a pole, Chucky waits for her to sit down in front of the flag. He then jumps onto her back and uses the flag to smother her head, taunting that he couldn't resist the temptation to make her three wards orphans again. After a brief struggle, she eventually succumbs and suffocates to death. Stealing her phone, Chucky calls Charlotte to inform her of his recent kill, since she and Pryce cleaned up after him when he killed Samantha. He then quickly escapes through the vent as Charlotte and Pryce return to the room and find Miss Fairchild's corpse. At night, Chucky again uses Miss Fairchild's phone to FaceTime with Jake, Devon and Lexy. He taunts them over the murder of Miss Fairchild, and remarks that he is waiting for the three of them at what promises to be their bloodiest Halloween yet.

On the night of the White House's Halloween Gala, Chucky notices his vessel continuing to age, and finds that he can no longer cover up his wrinkles with makeup. He dons a Phantom of the Opera costume, allowing him to hide his face. When James comes to Henry's room to talk about the Gala, the boy insists that he does not want to attend. After James leaves the bedroom, Henry tells Chucky that he can still go to the party without him. But Chucky reveals that he isn't going anywhere, as his last three sacrifices to Damballa are coming to find him: Jake, Devon and Lexy. He tells Henry to ask his father to get them a pumpkin to carve, along with a big knife.

In the evening, Henry and Chucky are left in the care of a nanny named Annie Gilpin. While Henry is getting ready for bed, Chucky sneaks out to find a way to kill his next sacrifices. He enters a crawlspaces and sees through a small hole in the floor that he is directly above a large chandelier, hanging overtop the ballroom where the Gala is being held. As the time is not right yet, he crawls back to Henry's bedroom, making it just in time as Annie comes in to check on him. After the two have a conversation about their mutual interest in ghosts, they decide to play a game of hide-and-seek. Annie stays and counts in the bedroom as Henry runs off to find a place to hide. When the two are both gone from the bedroom, Chucky steals Annie's pumpkin carving knife and re-enters the crawlspace to unscrew the bolts holding up the chandelier. He then catches up with Henry downstairs at the party, allowing himself to be carried by the boy while still holding the knife behind Henry's back. The two are spotted by Jake, Devon and Lexy, but Chucky manages to slip out of Henry's grasp and escape when the power suddenly goes out. He makes his way to the center of the ballroom, sitting himself down on a chair. As James sees the doll and picks him up, the power is turned back on. The Secret Service escorts James and his family out of the party, and Chucky is given back to Henry. Right before the first family leaves the ballroom, the chandelier finally falls and kills ten people.

ChuckyOld

Chucky aging rapidly.

Shortly before midnight in Henry's bedroom, Chucky pleads to Damballa to lift his curse as he has offered 13 sacrifices. He begins the chant as Damballa's storm clouds manifest over the White House, and they dissipate quickly after the chant is finished. He walks over to the bedroom mirror to examine himself, but is horrified as he takes off his Phantom of the Opera mask. Damballa did not accept his offerings, and he is still cursed to die in his Good Guy vessel. He has lost most of his hair, the rest of which is turning white, and he is continuing to age at a rapid rate.

The next day, Chucky's aging has continued to advance. He has lost more of his muscle tone, his white hair has thinned more, and his face has more age spots and wrinkles Henry keeps him tucked in bed in his room, where he is found by a housekeeper. Although he makes quick work murdering her by slipping bleach into her drink, he finds that the thrill of killing is gone, and nothing matters to him anymore. After hiding her corpse in the closet, he slips back into bed, just in time for Henry to check up on him. As he goes to grab Chucky a blanket, he hallucinates his bodyguard Teddy's murder and runs out to find Charlotte, asking her to talk to Teddy. She goes into Henry's room to take a look, alerting Chucky as she peeks into the closet. She quickly leaves the room after taking Henry's ghost book, completely unaware that Chucky was behind her with a knife.

Chucky angered by the M3GAN film.

During the evening, Chucky is flipping through channels on Henry's TV, criticizing other killer doll movies before he ends on a newscast about Tiffany's future execution on death row. He persistently attempts to call Tiffany, who ignores him until he finally relents the following morning. Explaining his current situation with Damballa, he regrets that he doesn't know what his life of killing was for, and they both confess that they still love each other. When he laments that he's going to just let Jake, Devon and Lexy kill him, Tiffany gives him a pep talk that he should be going down in history as "the greatest serial killer of all time". She reminds him that he is in the White House, and he is primed to take as many people as he can with him when he dies.

With a renewed sense of purpose, Chucky uses a wheelchair to hide himself in Joseph's old room, under the covers on the bed. When James enters the room, he smashes a piggy bank into the back of his head, causing him to collapse to the ground. Lunging on top of him, Chucky bites off a chunk of his cheek and gouges out his eyes, killing him. From there, he keeps one of his eyeballs, then reaches into his coat and takes his pen and nuclear access codes. He manages to get back onto his wheelchair and reach Henry's room before the boy comes looking for him. Henry asks what he can do to make him feel better, and is saddened about his "brother" dying again. Chucky explains that everyone dies, but the point is to make a difference, and to leave his mark while he's still alive so people will remember him after he's dead. He wants to play a new game with Henry, and instructs him from this point on to never let him go.

The next night, Chucky puts his plan into action. While carried by Henry, they go to a room in the Executive Residence where a gun is hidden in a wall safe. Then, he leads the boy to his father's body double Randall's room and holds him hostage. He has Randall take the three of them to the Situation Room, and shoots the agent operating the elevator in the head, when he attempts to relay their location. He then shoots the agent guarding the Situation Room door in the chest, but is unable to finish him off as the gun is out of bullets. Instead, he kills him by stabbing him in the eye with James' pen. Retrieving the agent's gun, they go inside the Situation Room. Chucky forces Randall to contact the North American Aerospace Defense Command, and uses James' eyeball to pass the verification. Now with complete access to the nuclear missiles, Chucky sets his targets for Moscow, Pyongyang, and the North Pole, just so any surviving children will know Santa is dead.

Jake, Devon and Lexy arrive just in time, and Devon uses his phone to record Chucky declaring that he will be forever known as the greatest serial killer to ever live. However, before he forces Randall to launch the missiles, Coop enters the Situation Room and shoots Chucky through the heart. Collapsing onto the table, he manages to launch the nuclear missile to the North Pole before he dies, disintegrating into dust and leaving behind only his Good Guy shoes. While Pryce scrambles to lock the White House down, the ghost of Charles Lee Ray manifests in the hallway.

Chucky Prime

After the ghost of Charles Lee Ray is sent to the Spirit Realm, Damballa informs him that his sacrifices were ignored as he "cheated on him with other gods". Charles is able to beg Damballa for one more chance, and he challenges him to kill as a ghost and harness the blood he spilt in the White House. After he murders five people, government paranormal experts Dr. Carol Lindstrom and Timmy Nash are brought in to cleanse the building of his evil spirit. After a failed séance, Jake volunteers to be put under temporary cardiac arrest with a CIA drug, giving him five minutes in the Spirit Realm to go after Chucky. When Jake confronts Charles Lee Ray, he takes the boy to the White House's movie theatre, where all of his different soul fragments are inside watching different scenes of Chucky's life. Amongst the soul fragments are Charles Lee Ray as a young boy, teenager and man, as well as Buff Chucky, Good Chucky, and the Colonel. Good Chucky becomes disturbed over the visuals of the multiple murders, with the final straw being Nadine's death. He runs out of the movie theatre and to the president's bedroom, with Jake following close behind.

As Good Chucky lies in the bed, he explains that he still feels guilty for murdering Nadine, and that he can never forgive himself. Taking a knife out from under the blankets, Jake explains that there is one way for him. Good Chucky must sacrifice himself, which would in turn cause all of Chucky's soul fragments to cease existing. When Good Chucky questions why Jake isn't protecting him as his Godfather, he tells him that he can't after he killed Nadine. Just then, the other versions of Chucky enter the room, chastising Jake for being responsible for his father's death, and not doing anything to stop Chucky from murdering him. Jake tries to get through to Good Chucky, pleading that he is different from the other Charles Lee Rays and that he is the one who can end this. Although Good Chucky points the knife to his throat, Jake soon realizes the doll was only stalling and never intended to kill himself. When he asks where the older Charles Lee Ray disappeared to, Good Chucky finally shows his true nature, explaining that they were just distracting him so Chucky Prime could possess Jake's body.

Now in control of Jake, Chucky is brought back to life by Devon once the five minutes are up. He lies to Jake's friends, telling them all that he killed Chucky and he knows where Caroline is being held. At that same moment, the CIA's bombs detonate and explode throughout the White House. Running out of the Executive Residence, Devon, Lexy and Grant make it down the staircase but Jake and Timmy are trapped upstairs. The two of them get on the elevator, allowing Chucky to repeatedly beat Timmy as revenge for sending Jake into the Spirit Realm after him. Before leaving Timmy to die in the fiery elevator, Chucky mocks that he told a few other ghosts about him and he will be very popular on the other side.

Chucky and Tiffany back together again.

After they all make it out of the White House, Chucky leads Devon and Lexy to the estate of Wendell Wilkins. The three of them are let inside, though Devon and Lexy are unaware that this was all part of Chucky's plan. With the help of Caroline, she manipulated Wendell into aiding in her contingency plan to resurrect Chucky in case their original plan went awry. As Wendell is the original creator of the Good Guy dolls, he has held onto the prototype Good Guy. Using the Voodoo For Dummies book, Caroline transfers Chucky's soul back from Jake's body into the doll. Afterwards, Wendell and Caroline then reveal that they were originally going to kill Devon, Jake and Lexy, but instead they will help keep Wendell company. Caroline uses another spell to transfer the trio's souls into miniature marionette dolls, and are kept in a display cabinet in Wendell's living room. Later that night, Tiffany arrives at the estate, where Chucky is waiting for her. As Tiffany wishes they could be a real family again, Wendell reveals that they have a Wedding Belle doll for her to possess. Caroline transfers her soul into the doll, allowing Chucky and Tiffany to be together again. With the dolls making out in the backseat, Caroline drives away in Tiffany's car.

Trivia

  • Chucky is inspired by the 1982 Cabbage Patch Kid dolls, and the story of the haunted doll Robert. He was also inspired by the Zuni doll from the 1975 film Trilogy of Terror, and the 1963 episode "Living Doll" from the Twilight Zone.
  • Chucky’s design was inspired by Hasbro's 1985 My Buddy doll, which also dressed in denim overalls and a striped shirt.
  • Chucky's stunt doubling is performed by Ed Gale and Debbie Carrington.
  • Chucky loses his right hand before he dies in the first three films.  In Child’s Play, Karen Barclay shoots it off. In Child’s Play 2, Chucky tears it off himself to escape from the bar gate, and in Child’s Play 3, Andy cuts it off with a knife.
  • In Don Mancini's original concept, his name was Buddy and he spoke his catchphrases by pulling the string on his back. He only spoke in his child-like voice until his final confrontation with Karen, where he ripped the string out of his back to reveal his deep natural voice.
  • Don Mancini’s idea for Chucky was very distinct in the script: red hair, two feet tall, blue eyes, freckles, and a striped shirt. From that description producer David Kirschner designed the doll.
