The CN100 is a Concert series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1978. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.
The CN100 features a carved maple top with cream binding on an offset double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a laminated maple neck with a 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with binding and pearloid dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups with chrome covers mounted in black pickup rings with individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar fixed bridge and slotted tailpiece with scalloped "cloud" ornament, Smooth Tuner II machine heads and rubberized Sure Grip knobs. The output is mounted on the side of the guitar.
The CN200 is a similar model with multibinding, block fretboard inlays and gold hardware.
The CN100 was discontinued in 1979 along with the entire short-lived Concert series.
