Supported Color Spaces

• RGB, HSL, HSV, CMYK, CIELab, YPbPr, XYZ, xyY, Munsell

All Color spaces convertible in all other color spaces.

Integer Conversions

• ARGB, RGBA, ABGR, BGRA, RGB, BGR. Signed or Unsigned.

Features

Color Sample Viewer / Color Layers

On the left side, you can choose what color you want to change. It's called also Color Layer. There are two reasons why there's more complex Viewer instead of a simple solid rectangle:

• Combination Test. Some colors only look great if they are in combination with other colors.
• Contrast Test. Some colors only look great if they are only 1-2 pixels wide, like a border of a font.
• Defining the Parent Color for Alpha blending.

You can also modify Html Source Code of the Sample. It's possible to add even more layers. All modifications are stored in a local cookie in your browser.

If you broke the View, just press Reset All Data.

Realtime Sliders

Changes of a single slider will emmitted to every other slider in realtime. Feel free to modify sliders from different color space, just to find the perfect color or to understand the relationships.

Alpha Blending

Alpha Blending is applied to every color. The background color is the parent color of the selected Color Layer. You can merge a blend via Merge Button.

Color Palett

Drag & Drop Colors to another slot. The selected slot is the current Color you're editing. All Colors are stored in a local cookie your browser.

Flexible Expressions

• Most color spaces have an expression field in the headline. Even if there's for example a "rgba(....)" expression, you can even put there nearly everything, that could be parsed: cmyk(....), Hey, known color name (like "darkred") and so on.
• In most single Value fields, you can use mathematical expressions. Let's say you have in the RGB "R" field the value "100". If you change the text to "100*1.5", it will be automatically resolved to 150. This is very usefull for shading in HSL!

More Features

• In most cases, numbers are not (internally) rounded. This will make conversions very precise. Numbers are only rounded for output.
• Get get the most near/similar Web Color Name like "darkgreen" or "red". It's in the "More Conversions" Tab.

Color Themes

In the Color Theme tab, you can see the following color combinations: Complementary, Triad, Square, Analogic, Split-Complementary, Rectangle and All.

Shading

In the Shading Tab, you can choose the perfect shading color.

• X-Axis is Lightness, and Y-Axis is Saturation.
• The Row Background Color of the mouse hover effect is always the current active color.

All algorithms are taken from well known sources. But there's no garantee that all conversions nor the displayed colors are correct. Every display/printer/device would display colors different. There's no implemented color correction managemnt. Use this at your own risk.
