Starting from the 2024 Secondary 1 cohort, the Normal (Technical), Normal (Academic) and Express courses will be phased out. Under Full Subject-Based Banding (Full SBB), students will be posted through Posting Groups 1, 2 and 3 respectively instead and have greater flexibility to offer subjects at appropriate subject levels. Depending on your child’s strengths, interests and PSLE results, they could be eligible for the following courses:

Express

Subjects, electives and exams for both O-Level Programme and Integrated Programme.

PSLE score range 4 - 22

Normal (Academic)

Subjects and electives of this 5-year course leading to the GCE N-Level exam in Secondary 4.

PSLE score range 21 - 25

Normal (Technical)

Subjects and electives of this 4-year course leading to the N(T)-Level exam in Secondary 4.

PSLE score range 25 - 30, with an AL 7 or better in English Language and Mathematics
