  CVC Capital Partners and Bain Capital, have reached an agreement for Bain Capital to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of FineToday Holdings Co., Ltd. FineToday is a market leading personal care and beauty company with a strong portfolio of brands in Japan and across key Asian markets, including China and Southeast Asia. We penned the "ten tests" of a world class VCP in PE to crystallize the elements that turn value creation dreams --> value creation plans --> value creations results (earnings, free cash, MOIC/IRR/$ profit).   CVC is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a controlling stake in Equine Network, the largest for profit equestrian-based sports league in the US. This investment will be the first new league investment into CVC’s Global Sport Group (GSG), which will now hold stakes in eight unique leagues and competitions. Michelle Wilson and George Barrios, GSG directors: “Having spent recent months working closely with Tom and his team, we are highly impressed by the business they have built. Equine Network has an attractive position in a large, participation-led equine sports market and is well positioned to benefit from GSG’s value creation capabilities.   CVC announces it has agreed to acquire 100% of Marathon Asset Management, a leading US credit manager, in a cash and equity transaction with a base consideration valued at up to $1.2 billion. The transaction significantly expands CVC’s access to the large and fast-growing US market through Marathon’s market-leading positions in Asset-Based, Real Estate, Opportunistic and Public Credit. These capabilities are highly complementary to CVC’s established market leadership in Liquid Credit, where it is the # 1 European CLO manager, and in European Direct Lending, where it is a top-three manager.   American International Group and CVC today announced a strategic partnership designed to support AIG’s long-term investment objectives in partnership with CVC’s broad capabilities in insurance solutions and private markets innovation.   The strategic partnership includes the establishment of large-scale separately managed accounts (SMAs) across CVC’s credit strategies, and the launch of CVC’s private equity secondaries evergreen platform with AIG as a cornerstone investor.   Rob Lucas, CEO of CVC: “Our partnership with AIG is a powerful endorsement of CVC’s ability to serve the evolving needs of global insurance institutions at scale.
