- Particulate filter clogged with soot
The yellow particulate filter clogged with soot light means that action is required.
Roadside assistance: 0800 777 172
The particulate filter is saturated with soot and must be regenerated.Support regeneration by driving at speeds between 31-75mph – observing the relevant speed limits and the vehicle’s gear-change indicator. The indicator’s light goes out automatically when the particulate filter has been regenerated. If the indicator lamp is still lit up after driving for approx. 30 minutes, contact an authorised repairer. If the indicator lamp is ignored, this can lead to the particulate filter becoming completely clogged. If the particulate filter is clogged, a service regeneration must be carried out by a qualified repairer.
