Sep 9, 2012 48 0 18,530 What is the difference between Gigabyte B85M-D3H, GA-H81.Amp-UP and GA-H87-D3H Motherboards ??? Solution Both Asus and Gigabyte have excellent products in my opinion. As I said, my preference is Asus, but there are also builders who swear by Gigabyte. You really can't go wrong with either. I'm just saying, for you, since Asus doesn't come with a warranty in your country, you probably should pick Gigabyte. Sort by date Sort by votes jimthenagual

Apr 8, 2012 4,014 16 29,365 The basic differences: Z87 is to top end chipset. Great for overclocking and SLI and other chipset features. H87 basically the same as Z87 minus the overclocking abilities, and doesn't support triple SLI H81 budget level, no overclocking, no sli, limited sata 6gb/s, limited usb 3.0 The B85 you mention is a business focused chipset, and it is the budget level with limited options of the other business chipsets. Apr 8, 2012 4,014 16 29,365 If you have no intention of overclocking, don`t need multiple graphics cards and only a few sata 6gb/s ports, there is nothing wrong with the H81/B85 chipsets at all. They would do very well for future upgrades as well. It all depends on the maker of the motherboard. Asus is my personal favorite. Or this is a solid motherboard from a quality maker at a good price point. $59.99 Asrock H81M http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-h81m Upvote 0 Downvote kanishmarsh

Sep 9, 2012 48 0 18,530 Thanx for your reply..In Sri Lanka Asrock motherboards are not available..Only available Gigabyte H81 and B85 and Asus H81 and B85 boards..but Due to the marketing problem in Sri Lanka NO WARRENTY for ASUS products and no one here to take responsibility of ASUS products..on the other hand Gigabyte ok with that problem & no issue with claiming warranty..So are you sure about ASUS H81 and B85 products ??? or best option is going with Gigabyte ??? Which motherboard is more advanced ??? Upvote 0 Downvote jimthenagual

Apr 8, 2012 4,014 16 29,365 Gigabyte is also one of the more reliable makers. I prefer Asus but if there is no warranty that is too risky. I'd go with Gigabyte if I were in your situation. Upvote 0 Downvote kanishmarsh
