Difference Between GX140, GX160, GX200

Jan 31, 2011 #1 Are any of the parts on a GX140 interchangable on a 160 or 200? They're obviously similar, but what are the differences? C

The block between all of them is different. I know for a fact that the 160 head works on a 200 since I'm running one.

Feb 1, 2011 #5 the 140 head from what i remember will bolt up but you dont want to put it on your engine. The ports and valves are smaller and will kill any performance on the engine. The 160 heads have the same size valves and portsas the 200 engines and smaller combustion chambers so it bumps your compression ratio up which is why they are sought after by the gear heads.
