Discussion8s Xmaxx on 6s Hi everyone, I am likely going to pick up an Xmaxx tomorrow. But I currently only have a set of 3s batteries, will the ESC arm and run on 6s? Or is it 8s only? I have one 4s battery and I intend to order the matching battery to run 8s, but I'd like to run the truck around during the weekend

I have an X-Maxx with the 8s Power Upgrade kit in it. So while it's technically capable of running on 8s, I run mine on 6s no problem (I'm using 3 x 2s 5000 mAh packs). The ESC will run just fine on 4s, 6s, or 8s. Enjoy!

I recommend going over to Traxxas forums on their website. Wealth of knowledge all for Traxxas over there! And whole rooms just for the xmaxx

Im looking forward to getting an X Maxx. Just have to sell my 1/5 scale gas. Need something quieter to play with in the yard.
