| DIY PVC Pipe Speakers with HiVi B3N driver and HiVi T20-8 tweeter | The speaker enclosures are made using various PVC pipe sections. The PVC pipe enclosure houses a 3-inch HiVi B3N fullrange driver and a HiVi T20-8 textile dome tweeter. The enclosure is tuned through a rear firing bass port. There is a 2-way crossover inside the enclosure and the binding posts are on the back. The speaker sits on a wood platform with spikes. The frequency range is about 65 to 20,000Hz . There is a nice sound stage and pretty good low end response considering the small size of the driver and enclosure. I would love to hear your comments about this HiVi B3N / T20-8 PVC Speaker project. | | File information | Filename: | ikyaudio_sound_pipes_small_1.jpg | Album name: | Speaker and Subwoofer Projects | Filesize: | 191 KiB | Date added: | May 30, 2009 | Dimensions: | 1050 x 639 pixels | Displayed: | 8654 times | URL: | http://diyaudioprojects.com/Gallery/displayimage.php?pid=409 | Favorites: | Add to Favorites | |
