This paper focuses on the development of the bed change in Soc Trang Estuary under the influence of tide by mathematical method-MIKE 21 (Hydrodynamic and mud transport modules) to simulate the flow regime and sediment transport. The results of hydraulic and sediment transport verification show good correlation at Dai Ngai and Tran De stations, ensuring the reliability to simulate the bottom morphology in flood season. The results shows that under the impact of upstream, the river flow prevails over the tidal flow and provided a large amount of sediment, so the erosion is more pronounced. The strong erosion areas is concentrated in the river bed at the banks of the islet with the largest level being 0.15 m; and the most accreting area along the Dinh An estuary with a level of 0.24 m.
