This research is based on the uses of passenger to clarify the factors affecting the behavior of choosing buses as a public means of transport of Hanoi citizens. The study was conducted based on 400 survey samples collected, distributed according to the population structure of districts in the centre of Hanoi Capital. The independent variables in the model include: demographic characteristics; features of the vehicle; subjective standards; the appeal of private vehicles; environmental awareness. The research results show that, besides the traditional factors used in many previous studies, the factor "The number of family members using buses" has the greatest impact on the behavior of choosing buses of people in Hanoi Capital.
