About

Dr Hao Dong is Senior Lecturer in Management at the University of Southampton Business School. Hao brings a wide range of knowledge across socioeconomics and business studies to explore how human action and genuinely responsible management can contribute to true sustainability.

Biography

Hao completed his funded PhD following Dr Adrian Bailey at the University of Exeter Business School.

Prior to joining Southampton, Hao was at the Science, Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (SITE) department based at the University of Exeter and a founding member of the Business, Nature and Value (BNV) Research Centre, an international network researching issues of sustainable supply chain management. In 2018, Hao was appointed as a director by the Forest School Association and the first FSA Ambassador to the Greater China region. Away from the campus, Hao worked as an entrepreneur and business manager, where he obtained first-hand managerial experience and established industry connections.
