Was treated for about a year and never did a breathing test all he gave me was symbicort. My problem never improved Dr has a lack of empathy and bad communication. I Don't recommend him

Developed the flu and was antibiotics from my GP. Felt worse a couple of days later and was told to continue pills. Called a 2nd and 3rd time days later and was told the same. My fingers were turning blue. I had pneumonia 2 years prior and Dr Kumar was my pulmonologist. Went to his office, was admitted to the hospital. Had a 12 day stay. He explains everything to me, listens to me and I love his assistant at his office as well!

I live in Texas but Dr. Kumar cares for my brother in Thousand Oaks CA. so it is very important to get updates about his care. During his recent hospital stay Dr. Kumar took my calls promptly whenever possible and did not make me feel as though I was a bother......of course I probably was. I would recommend him highly because of his compassionate care.

Did a very bad job of suturing my face. Could have been because I was a 64 year old female, because he was in a hurry late into the evening, or because he, for some other reason, wasn't interested in taking the time to do a decent job.
