One of our full-time Medical Practitioners, Dr. Vijay is passionate about all aspects of General Practice. His special interests are Holistic Medicine, Child and Adolescent Health, Mental Health, Preventative Medicine, Musculoskeletal and Respiratory Tract medical conditions, and Chronic Disease Management.

After completing his medical schooling, Dr. Vijay followed his passion for family & community-based General Practice which led him to open his practice in 2000. He then undertook further training in Internal Medicine while continuing in General Practice.

He moved to the Gold Coast in early 2009 and while working as a General Practitioner he completed his fellowship exams.

Dr. Vijay won the prestigious Mary Mahoney award in 2011, topping Queensland in the fellowship exams. With more than 15 years of General Practice expertise, he is an active advocate for General Practice teaching and training.
