droidVNC-NG is an open-source Android VNC server app that does not require root access. It comes with the following feature set: Remote Control & Interaction- Screen Sharing: Share your device's screen over the network, with optional scaling on the server side for better performance.- Remote Control: Use your VNC client to control your device, including mouse and basic keyboard input. To enable this, you must activate the Accessibility API Service on your device.- Special Key Functions: Remotely trigger key functions like 'Recent Apps,' Home button, and Back button.- Text Copy & Paste: Support for copying and pasting text from your device to the VNC client. Note that server-to-client copy & paste only works automatically for text selected in editable text fields or manually by sharing text to droidVNC-NG via Android's Share-To functionality. Hot Damn! What I needed. When I needed it. In good working order. PNP: Start it, Avahi it, Connect it, BAM! I tried a number of widely known alternatives that required accounts, complex configs, scripted installs, and constant nags to purchase yearly subscriptions. It's software, people, buy it, use it. And I don't need 64 bit encryption to run on my LAN, sorry, I just dont. FOSS FOREVER! SIGTERM

Works as supposed to. This app is better than the official VNC server app. Not only it works its easy to use.

After turning it on, it will inject random clicks in my settings and app settings. Even tried to delete my contacts and make calls. Since turning it off, erroneous random stuff no longer happens. Otherwise I can remotely use my phone, as long as I don't open my phone dialer or attempt to open my messaging. Looks like you guys included a back door or something? Beware using this app.

It does not connect to remote android redmi 9A in my case. I checked my firewall in android and also checked the accessibility permissions for downloaded apps. Keeps giving the error that the other party did not respond properly after a period of time or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

A step in the right direction. Latency is hight and keyboard doesn't work. But this is the first time I have been able to remote into my phone. If those issues are improved I will give 5 stars.

Works well for my phone! Unfortunately, my actual use case was trying to send my wife's Chromebook screen (actually a £3 HDMI dummy screen) to her old Mac to use it as a second screen. The Mac's Screen Sharing window authenticated and had the right dimensions for whichever of the native or dummy display I selected to send, but only displayed plain black. I'm sure that's not your fault though! I ended up using x-mirage and cast tab/screen.
