My flywheel has been making noise for sometime now and ive decided its time for a replacement, i browsed on autodoc to discover they have a bunch of diffrent fly wheels for t5 transporter. Anyone know how to tell wich is the correct one without removing the old one first? I have a 2012 T5.1 transporter 2.0tdi 7spd automatic dsg #1 · Jun 12, 2021 (Edited) Hey you! Found a company called darkside develoments they were able to find the correct part via my vin number. I Will probly order from them as their price was similar to autodoc, they had an oem part to choose from(luk, sachs, oem) and they were helpful. #5 · Jun 16, 2021 There's always a "jobs-worth“ [emoji849] Wow, that's some markup, almost double the UK dealer price, not that you'll pay that anyway. Out of interest, what part number where you quoted? The dmf replacement went very well, only problem i ran into was finding the last bellhousing bolt that was hidden behind the starter motor. My t5 has been running smooth and silent for a few weeks now, i also took the oppertunity while everything was appart to swap out a noisy wheel bearing, both front strut bearings, water pump & cambelt, serpentine belt & tensioner and oil and filter change. It now feels like drivning a new van again and not a ticking bomb. 0 Reply #12 · Sep 2, 2021 brilliant news, glad you got it sorted (y) Insert Quotes Post Reply
