Product Description

This is a solvent based economical primer anti-corrosive protective primer for interior and exterior ferrous and non-ferrous metal work, including steel work, new, weathered and pre-treated zinc and galvanized iron. It may also be applied over pre-treated aluminium.

Application Description

Step 1 : Surface PreparationSurface must be clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease, wax etc. Remove all loose or poorly adhering materials rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper.Step 2 : Application process For best result, up to 1-part Dulux Thinner (61-33) or equivalent to 10 parts of paint by volume for brush application.Step 3 : Drying timeFor single coat at standard thickness under normal condition, touch dry is within 30 mins and tack free dry is within 2.5 hours.

Tips & Advice

• 1. Preparing the Surfaces Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required.
• 2. After use Clean all equipment with Dulux Thinner or white spirit / mineral turpentine immediately after use.
