Submersible pump with cast iron anti-clogging semi-vortex impeller capable of pumping of foreign bodies up to 70% of the discharge outlet's diameter while retaining ease of maintenance. The DVS electric pump is only available in a three-phase version and can be used in fixed and mobile installations. What should the dimensions of the handhole where I’m inserting the pump be?

It depends on the pump’s type and model. Strictly follow the directions provided in the instruction manual.

What is the minimum amount of liquid that the pump must be submerged in?

Strictly follow the directions provided in the instruction manual.

Can I extend/replace the power cord without causing technical problems or affecting the warranty?

Yes, anyhow this operation has to be carried out by a specialised technician or at an authorised EBARA Service Centre. This avoids improper connections that can adversely affect the pump’s correct operation and/or the safety of the installation.

How can I adjust the float switch in order to avoid problems when starting or stopping?

If the pump is fitted with a float switch, the latter must have enough room to move freely, so that it can switch and ensure a proper pump operation. Please follow the directions provided in the instruction manual when the installation requires float switches that are fixed to the tank and are driven by a distribution board.
