jedibeetle J I'm wanting to convert my 1970 beetle from a dynamo to alternator. I've been given a bosch alternator with a built in regulator, but the wiring diagram that came with it doesn't explain, well to me anyway. What I want to know is on my external dynamo regulator there is a power wire which runs to my light switch. Do I leave the external dynamo regulator in place as a switch box?
