   Not a professional blower. The Echo X Pb9010 is the most powerful backpack on the market, not by much tho. That being said, the design is horrible. The blower itself is the heaviest I have ever used with a tube that is way too long. The machine has a flaw..it is NOT water tight, so water will get in the air filter if left on a landscape trailer. The tube is VERY siff and difficult to blow flower beds out with due to its rigid material. THIS BLOWER WILL WAKE THE DEAD!! IT is Extremely Loud, customers requested I not use it. It GUZZLED fuel akin to a man walking out of the desert and finding water! Lastly as no echo dealers are around my area, this product is sold exclusively at HD. 🤮 It has replaced the pb8010, however I believe echo took some of the ideas from their sister company shindawoah, in a race against Stihl to build the biggest strongest backpack. Yes, echo trumps the stihl in CFMs 1,100 vs 914 yet lags in MPH 220 vs 239 respectively. Echo does have the power tho, listed at 48N but tested at 52! Due to how new it is, reliability cant be ascertained…

   - CONS:
   • NOT WATER TIGHT
   • VERY LOUD

   I have a 2 acre yard with more than fifty trees. I have not raked the leaves up in 10 years. I needed something with power AND maneuverability. I used a walk behind blower several years ago but was totally wore out pushing it around. I researched several sources and decided the 9010 was what I was looking for. It did not disappoint nor was it different than the reviews. It is heavy and it has a lot of push back force (see Issac Newton’s law of reaction force). So far I’ve used it three times. I can last about 2 hours a day. It moves leaves, sticks and top soil. I’m about 2/3rds done and my lawn looks So much better. I considered the Stihl 800 but I deemed it underpowered for my situation. The unit starts with very few pulls and idles well. The cruise control switch slowly slips but other than that, it runs great. I believe the machine was the right choice. I’ll rate it 5 out of 5 stars

   • Hurricane in a box
   - CONS:
   • Heavy
   • Stuff tube
   • Burns lots of full but delivers the wind. So, a fair trade.
   • Loud, but with hearing protection, it’s tolerable
