The new monitor is a part of the ColorEdge graphic series for graphic designers.

Eizo CG223W with 10 bit VA

Eizo’s new 22-inch ColorEdge monitor is called CG223W and utilizes a 10 bit VA panel with a 12 bit 3D LUT (look-up table).

The new 3D LUT from Eizo adjusts colour from a single colour table whereas a traditional LUT (1D) adjusts color on separate tables red, green, and blue. The monitor also has 16-bit internal processing of colour giving Eizo an internal colour palette of 68 billion colours. This improves colour accuracy.Eizo CG223W also features a true 10 bit VA panel instead of a conventional 8 bit panel, as well as a panel supporting 95 % of the AdobeRGB gamut.The screen has a resolution of 1680x1050, 6 ms (g2g) response time, 270 cd/m2 brightness, 950:1 contrast ratio and 178/178 viewing angles.

Eizo CG223W

The frame is black and comes with a n optional hood that prevents light on the LCD panel surface. The stand supports height, pivot, tilt and swivel adjustment. You connect it through one of the 2 DVI inputs or the DisplayPort input that supports 10 bit.Eizo CG223W will be available from the end of March.The suggested retail price for the will be about 750 Euro.CG223W is the smaller brothers to CG303W
