About Fender Player II Stratocaster

Fender Player II Stratocaster is a fantastic guitar and marks the entry point to Fenders Mexican line. Like the classic Fender Stratocaster, the player strat features, an Alder body, Maple neck, Fender Player Series pickups, a tremolo with bent steel saddles, a modern C neck shape and other modern features such as 22 frets. It has improved features, newly designed pickups and a range of options to choose from.

Fender Player Stratocaster is available in a wide selection of finishes including old favourites and fresh new colours, all featuring an alder body. These include Polar White, Aquatone Blue and Birch Green. Depending on the finish, certain models have maple fingerboards and others have pau ferro. Whether you fancy humbuckers for rock or the classic three single coil pickup configuration, it can be found in the Fender Player series. 'Plus' models with a Flame maple veneer top are available too, as is a model with a locking Floyd Rose tremolo. Each of the Player Stratocasters feature Player Series pickups with the bridge pickup either a Player Series single coil or a Player Series humbucker, depending on the model. These pickups deliver classic tones but still with plenty of punchy mids to cut through the mix.

The Player Stratocaster series is Fender's most affordable Stratocaster, providing excellent value for money while still producing a guitar with excellent specifications. There are also several versions to choose from so you can find the one best suited to the style of music that you play. We'd suggest the Floyd HSS for metal and the standard model for a more traditional sound.
