FAU has again shown that it is one of Germany’s top universities and above all how successful it is in attracting public research funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG). Between 2020 and 2022, FAU received a total of 289,4 million euros from DFG funding, a 20.3 percent gain on the previous three years.Continue Funded by the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM) with 180,000 euros, FAU researchers are hoping to develop a new method to examine the brains of newborns by combinging new high-speed ultrasound devices with AI Imaging.
