Just reminds me the effects a two dimensional photo can have. In some shots I took (but did not post) they looked vastly different in size. Thus by being very precise in the way they were placed on the table I was able to capture the sizes quite accurately. These two models are my all time favorites. Both are very comfortable with my preference being the 6900 on the bracelet, by a narrow margin, only because I enjoy wearing my watch loose. Here where I live it's 110 to 115 day after day in the summer, so a bracelet , especially this lightweight one is the most comfortable. Cheers...;-) 0 Reply #4 · Sep 24, 2009 Impossible to fault that new 6900 as a tough, simple watch, and even better on the bracelet. #5 · Sep 24, 2009 I concur. For me, another "feature" of the 6900 are the three "eyes". They remind me of the instruments on the dashboard of a few of my favorite cars (my other passion). Also as you so aptly pointed out, the simplicity of the design is a real draw for me. Finally the round overall shape of the case not only looks good, but opens up access to the buttons which for someone with large hands like myself, makes pushing them a breeze. Cheers... 0 Reply #6 · Sep 24, 2009 Those are interesting pictures! Is the 7900 any shorter than the 6900 on bracelet (lug to lug)? #7 · Sep 24, 2009 I have the GW-7900 on order, due any day now. But for me, one of the big draws of the 6900 (and 6600) is the iconic shape of the case and dial. Unique, rugged, practical, with one of the larger case designs in G's inventory. It says G-Shock the way a Submariner says Rolex (the Frogman being the Sea Dweller ;-)). #8 · Sep 25, 2009 Thanks for posting those photos. I just ordered both of them last night. I love seeing G-Photos with two models compared. I would love to see the G-7900 and the GW-7900 side by side. There is a lot of debate as to which display is preferable. Of course, I want them both. Enjoy. #9 · Sep 25, 2009 aafanatic said: I want them both. Click to expand...+1 I'll have the GW-7900, it's only a matter of days...;-) 0 Reply #10 · Sep 25, 2009 great....;-) Insert Quotes Post Reply
