alexander1986 A from what I can gather the g102 and g203 are the exact same mouse just available in different regions, correct? they also seem to be identical to the g pro wired except for not having a braided cable and a different sensor, but it still seems like a good sensor? the g102/203 is also WAY cheaper than the g-pro where I live, if anyone has any of these mice and can share some opinions would be great :) #1 · Apr 2, 2019 from what I can gather the g102 and g203 are the exact same mouse just available in different regions, correct? they also seem to be identical to the g pro wired except for not having a braided cable and a different sensor, but it still seems like a good sensor? the g102/203 is also WAY cheaper than the g-pro where I live, if anyone has any of these mice and can share some opinions would be great :) Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions #2 · Apr 4, 2019 The G Pro Hero has a newer sensor, which can do double the DPI of the sensor that resides inside the G102/203. Whether anyone can truly notice the difference between the two sensors is questionable. Personally, I *think* my G102 feels a tiny bit more 'swampy' than the Hero sensor. But I'm also 99% sure that this is placebo and all in my mind. There's a rumour about the G102/203 having some amount of acceleration. Still undecided on that one. The cable on the G102 is better than that on the G Pro, ironically. I think the G Pro has some sort of coating that makes it grippier than the G102/203. If the G Pro Hero would cost the same as the G102/203, I''d go for the G Pro Hero. But paying more than double (triple!) for the G Pro Hero is just stupid, if you ask me. My advice: Unless your mousepad is your table or a glass surface, I'd go for the G102. (if you need more grip, buy Lizard Skins) Pro tip: If you're lucky, you might still be able to find one of the original G Pro's with the 3366 sensor. Those might be available at a reduced price. Personally, I think the 3366 sensor feels a bit snappier than the Mercury one in the G102/203. PS: Logitech suck at naming mice. What a jungle. #3 · Apr 4, 2019 (Edited) you can see in mspaint the difference https://www.overclock.net/forum/27732974-post17.html

not sure what cables g203/102's current come with, but my g pro hero has a thinner and equally (or more?) flexible cable than that on my g102/203 that i got when they were released

not sure if i'm just unlucky, but i hate the switches in my g pro hero. that's why i'm still using my two 3366 g pro's as daily drivers Show more replies 0 Reply #4 · Apr 4, 2019 Correct g 102 is the Asian market nomenclature and got released a bit sooner. G 203 is the western nomenclature, it released a couple of months after and is the exact same mouse. If you're talking about the braided cable version then its the 3366 gpro and not the hero one. Personally I just got a backup 3366 g pro for the future as I did not like the mercury in the 102 and the hero seems pretty similar just not as bad. Just change that braided cable or de-braid it. #5 · Apr 4, 2019 No offense mate but instead of opening new threads you could comment in the existing ones. Insert Quotes Post Reply
