Hi folks, I got rid of my F10 535i and got a G30 540i 2018. Love it! Wheels are the OEM wheel and I also believe the tires may be also OEM. I want to add spacers to have a more aggressive look. Your suggestion is needed, I heard some people place a thicker one on the back. Please any comments will be greatly appreciated. I did a bunch of measurements with a straight edge to confirm before purchase. Some say 12mm front...but my measurements said otherwise...but it's really shaving hairs at that point...2mm.

You can go wider in the rear...possibly to 20mm but understand the more you increase the rear track, the more understeer you are inducing. #4 · Feb 7, 2021 I’ve got a 2019 540i xdrive with m sport and your 19” wheels/tires. I cannot find 11 and 18. I am still looking. Show more replies 1 Reply #5 · Feb 8, 2021 I don't favour use of spacer though I understand that high quality spacers are perfectly fine. The OEM G30 5 series wheels tend to be more tucked into the body and there is a fair bit of wheel gap. I would advise looking for a set of OEM G11/G12 wheels (19, 20, 21 inch). They have a more aggressive offset in the front and rear when compared to the G30 wheels. The factory tire size on G11/G12 is taller and does fit the G30. For example: 245/40 R19 should be the tire that came with your vehicle, an equivalent tire size for G11/G12 with 19 inch wheels would be 245 45 R19 (front), and 275 40 R19 (rear) - or the same size in the rear if they're not staggered. The lower offset in combination with taller tire size will give your car a more flush and "filled" look. Please keep in mind that your speedometer will indicate a lower speed than your actual speed but I believe the difference is negligible. In my case, I had the same wheels on my 2018 530e and I upgraded them to 650M wheels from the G11. The ride quality is the same and no issue like rubbing. The wheel (rim + tire) set up is about the same weight (19 vs 21) as 650M wheels are forged. Good luck with whichever route you take. Cheers! #7 · Feb 8, 2021

#26 · Jul 9, 2022 I’ve got a ‘18 540i with 19 in wheels (635) and thinking of doing 10/15, which is obviously similar.
