Soulpatch S Tried the syba and found it lacking for what I wanted. So started looking around at my price range (was looking a schiit hel, but not for $200 lol). The creative G6 and X3 both have good points and bad ones. Have you any experience with either of them? They are close in price and really only seem to be different is the initial output for the desktop speakers. I have no need for 7.1 surround. I run a simple powered subwoofer and two speaker setup. The headset is phillips 9500/boom pro mic combo. Just looking for a nice quality sound, doesn't have to be something where I can hear a frog fart to my left at 100m lol I know at this price range something like that isn't likely possible anyway. But if you've tried both of these, let me know what you think about them. I know they both use software, but also have the potential to run without in stock mode. Same with connecting speakers/headsets. Connecting a headset/mic automatically reroutes the signal to the headset. Which is what I want as well. The syba didn't even auto switch and that's tech we've had since the 80's, but I also found it fairly lacking in the sound ability as well. But for that price range, you get what you pay for. Thanks guys, appreciate the audiophiles restraint on this lol Ya, I looked at the 6-900 models briefly lol #1 · Mar 26, 2021 Tried the syba and found it lacking for what I wanted. On paper it seems more of what I'm looking for, but without knowing the in's outs of the X3 it's really hard to tell. Some reviews were really good, others not so much. So was hoping to get a better first hand impression. Insert Quotes Post Reply
